I loooove the Wilderness Lodge! My mom and I got put there by accident a few years ago. We were supposed to be at POR but they overbooked so they upgraded us to WL for no extra cost
We've stayed there the past two years, since it's just the two of us.
We're always afraid to ask for ketchup when we go to Whispering Canyon

last night ray said, "so we have 13 months, right?" i just looked at him blankly. then he said, "until our next trip." i was like, "um...no....we will be there this time next year, like right this very minute. would you like to know what we'll be doing this very minute?" he just looked at me and shook his head.
at least he's keeping somewhat of a countdown in his head.

It was a fun meal, although I didn't stay very long. I kind of ate and ran. Or ate and rocked, as the case was.

WCC looks amazing. I really want to eat there but I have to admit, I'm intimidated by all the shenanigians.
We felt very comfortable and at home at WL. I feel sure we will be staying there again.
Nobody has gone over the top with us. I was fearful, too, as I am of PrimeTime, but I think they sense your comfort level, for the most part.
OK have to brag. We were not sure if we were going to be able to swing another trip before summer but it has worked out. Just got a pin and got POP for end of January for $50/night. Fla res rate! Woo-hoo!!!
I will be thinking about you guys as we walk into POP.
MeMom how is the student and his family whose house burnt down? You should have got a card from Fla for them. Wish it was more!

Great rate for Pop! I wish we could get that for March. And then half price airfare and food and souvenirs.
Ah... Wilderness Lodge. I really love that place. I am sitting here thinking a trip there might have to happen in June. Perhaps on the way to the campfire with a dinner at Whispering Canyon.
