Woo WL! I could just sit in that lobby for hours.

Isn't it, though? Lucky shot, but her expression pretty much says it all.

Wilderness Lodge does have such a cozy feel, and there are so many seating areas in the one lobby. Very nice place!

Caleb and I finally watched Prep and Landing tonight. it was cute but like Jill I thought it could have been longer and less commercials...caleb got antsy half way through because i had to keep on fast fowarding to get to the show. he's more used to handy manny and mmc where they are all one program...they probably could have made a whole movie out of it and it would have been really cool!

I was able to tape it Sunday without the commercials. I'm sure Brooklynn will watch it a time or two hundred on her future visits.

Princess and the Frog was totally tinsel!!! I'm going to have to buy the soundtrack now too. Hannah did quite a bit of dancing during the movie! This movie is going on my list to purchase when it comes out on DVD. The line at the concession stand was way too long so we didn't get any popcorn or drinks. I made up for it by going to Bruester's for ice cream. It's cold and rainy here today but the ice cream was still good!

Those snacks at DHS!!! Would love to have some of the warmth and sunshine in the pictures. Yay for Wilderness Lodge!!!!

Our theater wasn't crowded. There were plenty of seats. Jill got popcorn and a drink as we went in for her and Brooklynn, and I had my water bottle and secret stash of candy. Ice cream sounds good, though. I'm an ice cream fiend.

I like the picture on the boat to the Wilderness Lodge where Trent is bending down saying something into Brooklynn's ear. I wonder what they were talking about?

There is no telling. He picks at her and she whines, but they both love it. At Jill's suggestion, he bought her a Princess Tiana dress for Christmas. He is going to be the world's best uncle in her eyes Sunday when we do our Christmas.

I did! I swear I love Kazin more and more every time I see him! I was holding him for almost 2 hours straight. I put him in the high chair while we were eating and his chair was in between me and my uncle(his grandpa) and he kept reaching over and tugging on my sleeve He spent a lot of time in my lap playing with my hair. For some reason he LOVES my hair. It doesn't bother me at all until he tugs on it. That little guy is STRONG! But most of the time he doesn't pull hard and it makes him smile so I just let him do it He got a little fussy at one point so I went and carried him around the house and showed him the Christmas tree(which fascinated him) and he had fun looking at himself in the mirror His grandparents have him a lot when his parents are working and they're not(like today), so it was nice for them to be able to relax for a couple hours while I took over

I'm sure they enjoyed the break. I'm glad you are having such a good time with him.

i think i just gained like 8 pounds just from looking at these pictures.

I didn't know they were making a Cars 2 until I saw the poster, but I'm pretty doggone excited about Toy Story 3 in June! We saw previews of that at the movie Saturday. I guess you did, too.

I really like those shoes and pants worn by that movie star....
I think my second graders would like them too!

Great update, the move is on. We also saw Princess and the Frog today. Both girls really liked it though I also got questions about "voodoo" and the "other side". Cayley has also been having trouble sleeping in her own room at night cause of the "shadows". As you can imagine she did not like those.

I bet she didn't. I hope she'll be able to sleep okay and not be afraid. Poor baby!

I found myself thinking those would seem scary to little ones. They even creeped me out a little.

oh good then I know i will not want to get it!! I am not much of a butterfinger fan...that will help my waistline a little bit while I am there then!

There are plenty of other scrumptious things to expand your waistline. I know that to be a true statement from personal experience.

The pictures from the Animation Studio are so cute , we've been to WDW 4 years in a row & still can't believe that we've missed that area , def won't be missed on the next trip ! The snacks from the Staring Rolls Cafe look delicious , we will also def have to try something from there on our next visit! The picture with Brooklyn & little gun that u weren't sure what it is , it's the gun from the TSM , my son got one on our last trip ! lol

You'll have to check it out next time. We've got some Buzz laser guns, but not the TSMM one. Brook was checking it out.

Only 13 days to go now. I wish I could say that. I'm still having a hard time letting go. 3 weeks ago from today I was at Epcot. And 3 weeks ago from tomorrow I was at DH. I think I might need help. I already started looking at rates for the next trip.

I have no idea what the converstion is here, but Chabalito sure has a funny look.

It was mid-afternoon, so it wasn't crowded.

Brooklynn ended up with Trent. No surprise.

I guess Jill mentioned that she was thirsty.

Brooklynn had to bring some special utensils to someone at our table.

As you can see, the fork was as big as she was.

Much 'grub' was consumed by this hungry group.

Brooklynn took a turn at horseback riding.

I guess my camera was messing up. After this trip, it had to be retired.

Bella was getting to be a sleepy little cowgirl, so I took her out on the porch and rocked her while the others finished eating and playing around with Raphael/Chabalito.

She fell asleep in just a few rocks of the big chair.

Brooklynn cracks us up on a daily basis. She comes up with some crazy stuff just like Luke does! Lately she has been singing CHristmas carols practicing for her program on Friday. "Deck the halls with boughs of holly. Falalalala lalalala. Tis the season to P Sholly. Falalalala lalalala."

Sorry you didn't get the Toy Story 3 preview. It's gonna be a good one! I'm a pretty big Toy Story fan, and I am looking very forward to June just because of this.

The view from where I sat rocking Bella.

After lunch, I was able to see the rooms for the first time, since I had not walked down with the others before.

We had requested 'inner courtyard' so we could overlook the pool. Where we were is considered 'courtyard', because it is next to the VWL pool. Upon first hearing this, we were disappointed, but when we realized we had nice porches, a yard, and were steps away from the beach, we were more than happy.

Brooklynn checks out both rooms.

Scott had asked me to get pictures for informational purposes for his website, so I took closet pictures and all.

More Wilderness Lodge later. I have to get moving.

I loooove the Wilderness Lodge! My mom and I got put there by accident a few years ago. We were supposed to be at POR but they overbooked so they upgraded us to WL for no extra cost We've stayed there the past two years, since it's just the two of us.

We're always afraid to ask for ketchup when we go to Whispering Canyon

Don't you love walking into your room and seeing towels in the shape of a Mickey head? I wish I got that at home
