It was like a Mexican beef pastry -- if Jill eats tacs, she'll eat an empanada.
I was thinking the same thing (have never had sushi), but then I saw the prices at the Japan kiosk, and we skipped it. Maybe one day...
I think she'll at least try it.
Well, if sushi is too expensive, that'll be my excuse for not trying it!
*sigh* I'd love to be riding the monorail right now!
Hey..when you took that pic of someone's stone outside the MK, you had to have just walked over ours! It's not too far from that one!
Okay, don't laugh at me but...have you ever noticed that the 3 Resorts on the monorail each have their own smell? Or maybe it's just me.
The GF is gorgeous. I could just sit in that lobby all day and people watch.
That's interesting. I don't have a brick, but I wish I did.
All the resorts do have their own familiar smells. I just told Jill when we were last at Opry Mills that there is a certain smell as you get near Rainforest Cafe, too. I could walk through there blindfolded and I would know when we were getting close.
I hope you are having a good Monday, Memom. Do you think your knee is ready for your trip? I hope it is, and I hope you have a great time.
It was a decently good Monday. Another one of our students was diagnosed with H1N1, so that's our fifth case. I haven't heard of anything serious coming from any of them, though.
I think it's going to be a real test for my knee. I am walking much better, but every once in a while there is a sharp pain. My stamina is nowhere near what I would want it to be, but I hope Jill will have mercy on me. I think I'll do as good, if not a little better, than I did this summer.
I'm pretty sure that you would be, too. Speaking of shrimp etoufee, I'm making some tonight... or maybe tomorrow actually since I work late this evening. (And I have to pick up some mix from the store!) I'll have to ask my Grandma to send the good stuff up from New Orleans.
Honestly, if you like shrimp, I really think you'd like crawfish! The praline bread pudding sounds DELICIOUS! Now I'm really missing New Orleans!
Fried shrimp = shrimp. So it counts!
Okay, I can do fried shrimp.
I'd like to go to New Orleans someday. For now, we're excited enough to be staying at POFQ on our Disney trip!
I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHARE !!! SEE IF YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT.......
My DMom and I have decided to go on the DISNEY CRUISE!
END OF FEBRUARY 2010!
We are going to surprize Lexi at Christmas with it....so shhh...it's our little secret....
I can't wait, it's going to be soo much fun!!
Gotta go....turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, turnip, brussel sprouts, pumpkin & pecan pies are calling me......Yummy!
We won't tell. That's an awesome surprise!
How was your Thanksgiving dinner? We have a while to go before our Thanksgiving. Was your work closed for the holiday?
MeMom - I'd probably decide that I was too cheap to get a new t-shirt... but probably more so I could by something else. Particularly if that something else was something of Jim Shore's...
BrooklynnsMommy - your week sounds crazy too... good luck!
I just wanted to say you aren't kidding! I'm sorry to say that we somehow always manage to get lost in Derby though.. not sure how. We will probably be moving somewhere in KS next July and our only hope seems to be that there be a
Walmart/Target relatively close....
Most likely, unless the 2009 shirts are just really awesome, I'll be wearing the old one. I will be buying very little on this trip. I am broke.

I do love the Jim Shore figures, though.
Maybe when you move to Kansas, you guys can work out a Dis meet. Maybe
wigd can teach you how to find your way through Derby.
I just LOVE seeing pictures of the GF!!! To me, it's the ultimate dream hotel!! Thank you for sharing those with us.
That's where the Full House gang stayed when they went, remember?

I thought that was rather interesting. I thought it was even more interesting that young Steve had the means to stay there on his own, and that he was able to walk right up to the desk and get a room with no reservation.
She is crawling around like crazy and eating like a pig.
I can vouch for both!
Kiss my babies for me and tell them I love them soooo much!
You do have a little peanut! My boy was 22 in at birth! He only wore newborn clothes for two weeks and then was too long for the footie pjs and had to move up a size. I love to see babies starting to crawl. Unfortunately once they start walking, as you know, life as you know it is over. Glad to hear that she is healthy and doing well.
She's finally starting to fill out 0-3 month clothes.
Trent pulled himself up and stood beside his rocking horse when he was five months old. I told him in no uncertain terms he was too young for that, but it was only a taste of what was to come. He was always just naturally physically advanced. I think Bella is going to be a lot like him.
My oldest ( now 18) was 6lbs at birth and only 18 inches long. People kept saying she was like one of those big 18" dolls in the store I probably could have bought her doll clothes. She made her own scale under the one printed at the Dr. office.
She wore her clothes 0-3 months until at least 3 months- 6 months until at least 6 mo and so on.
At 18 years old and healthy she can still fit into childrens 16 pants but we cross over to junior sizes now and then. She topped out at about 5'3" so length is always a problem. As long as she eats and seems happy she is fine.
I am sure Bella will fill out in time.
Good luck with with whirlwind week.
So many people at Disney World said the same thing. They thought Jill had a doll hanging on her!

I had a great grandmother who was extremely small, so maybe her genes are speaking up in Bella!

Continuing on, I found myself checking out an empty luau pavilion.
An interesting tree.
In the side door.
This resort has such beautiful landscaping.
