This has been quite the year in hollywood...and not a good year

But now I know what was going on at cedars-sinai this morning. According to the time in teh article, i was in the ER when she was brought in this morning...it did seem a little crazier than usual this morning

DH just came home and told me about this. I am shocked. She made me laugh and it's sad that she is gone. So young!

i saw it on twitter and i said i am not going to believe it until i see it on a news site so i went on yahoo and saw nothing, so then about 20 minutes later i went and searched again on yahoo and found out it was true

She's an actress. Has been in a lot of movies. Dated Ashton Kutcher. She also voiced "Gloria" the penguin (girlfriend of Mumbles) in Happy Feet.

I appreciate the many offers to identify her for me, but, after looking at her portfolio, I still don't recognize her. Incredibly I have not seen any of the movies and/or TV shows that she was in. I didn't even recognize her picture. I guess I need to get out more. Thanks for the help anyway.

So sad to hear about her death. Clueless was one of my favorite movies and I always liked her character best because she brought a realness to it and I could relate.

Loved her movies too. 8 Mile, Girl Interupted and Clueless. Loved the quirkyness about her. So sad, she was so young. Prayers and condolences to her family.

Someone mentioned a 911 call for her husband a few weeks back... I could be wrong, but if I'm thinking of the same guy isn't he a heavier man? The only reason I say this is because I know a lot of times weight plays a role in not being able to breathe. I certainly don't mean that to sound insensitive and I apologize if it does... but I bring it up because "drugs" would not be the first thing I thought of in regard to either of them.

On the other hand, "Karen Carpenter" comes to mind.

While very likely drug related, until there is a coroner's report released, it is all the very definition of hearsay.

I've read about that before. I wouldn't like to speculate as I think it's too soon and ultimately we can't really know. All the theories just fuel a media frenzy and I just hope her poor family gets some privacy to grieve.

I refuse to read Perez Hilton, I'm guessing he's having a field day with this.
