Since the Super Target on Orange Blossom trail has been open for a while now, I thought I would ask our British friends what they think of the place. Do you like it? Hate it?... how do you compare it to Wal-Mart?

Cheers,

Bill

Shooter,

I've been in there once or twice and have to say I do like it but i'm afraid that i'm still a Walmart man at heart or Costco.

Very big and good value for the t shirts and shorts.

I quite like Target, but then again I grew up in the States and I think Target has been around since before Walmart (at least I don't remember a Walmart in Pittsburgh)

I don't think it's as cheap as Walmart, but they have some nicer stuff.

I like Target. The stores we have visited have all been very clean & tidy which makes shopping so much nicer. Having said that I love looking round but rarely spend much money there and I don't know why!

I have a very dear friend who will not set foot in a Wal-mart--she's a Target girl all the way. She calls it "Tarjay" in a tongue-in-check fashion.

We used to live in the middle in the middle of West Texas and the standard joke was to clear out of Wal-mart by the time Baptists got out of church on Sunday. It was a joke, but so true. Wal-mart was the place to be on Sunday afternoon.

Please if you're Baptist, don't be offended. This town was very "bible belt" and very Baptist.
