Brita Water Bottles

I've been searching high & low for those Brita Water Bottles with filters. Guess where I found them: at Wal-mart in the area with ceiling fans, toilet seats and paint. They're with the plumbing stuff! They're $6.95 each and come in plain white, American flags and soccer print. They come with a filter and it lasts for 3 months, and they also sell replacement filters. I just wanted to pass this tip on to anyone else that has had trouble finding them.

We found our brita bottles at walmart too, and in the plubming section also. Go figure! We looked for any replacement filters, but no luck.. The following day I stopped in at our local K-mart and found the filters there. ...a whopping 60cents a piece!! I purchased all 10 of them. So even after you have the bottle keep your eyes open for the filters.

Yes I also found my britta bottles at Wal-Mart but now how to carry them..I bought some nylon mesh material and have made a bag with a drawstring and added a strap so everyone will be able to carry their own..Works great..Will stock up on filters because you know anything thats a good thing will soon be discontinued..Have a Happy Valentine Disney Day...

I did an internet search and bought my Brita bottles on line. I believe you can order replacement filters directly from Brita. I think the web address was just brita.com. These were wonderful. We just returned 2-12-05. The water at Disney hotels is just vile there is no other word for it. The kids and I really used our bottles a lot. We didn't take them to the parks, though. After all in Feb. you don't need as much hydration as in the summer.

Just so you know the bottles sweat like crazy and that's even now in February. My bottles also leak around the lid although I'm still going to use them. I just wanted to let you know in case you haven't tried yours out yet.

We bought ours last year and you'll never guess where? At Wal-mart in the plumbing section (Hee Hee!) We used them at WDW last year and saved alot of money on beverages, we didn't take them to the park because I didn't want to keep up with the bottle but what I did was put that sink water and ice in my brita bottle in the morning and them squeeze that filtered water into the bottled water container that we had left from the day before for both of us and viola $5.00 saved, cool water to sip on for a little while at the park and then throw the bottle away. We also would use them at night back at the hotel-we really found that we drank more water this last time than we ever had before. Also, did you know that when getting meals at the counter service they will give you a ice water for free you just have to ask. I didn't know this until last year either -the knowledge on this board is so helpful

Also, flavoring your water with instant kool-aid (sweetner added) is also away to get around the nastiness of Disney water.

I found the Brita bottles at CVS pharmacy for $7.99 each. The reason I didn't buy any was they didn't have additional filters! I don't usually go to Walmart but maybe I will have to take a peek. Or look in the plumbing aisle at Target...
