So, Sarah and Todd get to learn via national TV. Bristol said it was "scary" and "intimidating" to tell her parents.

Letting your parents learn via national tv just shows how immature these kids really are.

I think Sarah Palin is the biggest moron that has walked the face of the earth, however, I don't think she deserves to be blindsided like this. Especially finding out that the guy that made it a career to rip you apart is now going to be your son-in-law.

Good strong family there. Daughter can't even tell Mommy she is getting married.

I wish both of them the best, but I sure don't see how this can work. And it's kinda sad, because there is a child involved.

I do believe Todd and Sarah Palin are caring parents, but if I was Bristol, I would have also been scared to tell them the news, considering how Levi has deliberately tried to trash SP. I doubt that Sarah will be thrilled about the news, but if she loves her dd and wants to have a relationship with her, and I believe she does, she really has no choice but to be accepting of the situation.

Seriously, though, maybe they do really love each other. They had a LOT to deal with while Bristol was pregnant, being thrown into the media during her mom's campaign. I hope that they can just concentrate on each other, their baby, and making it work as a family instead of making magazine covers.

As much as I dislike Sarah Palin, I find this story pretty sad. This probably won't end happily every after for Bristol and Levi. I can't imagine how Sarah and her husband must feel this morning with the shocking news.

As for Bristol and Levi, they sound like they are not ready for marriage. I feel bad for the baby, who is adorable, by the way.
