August 23 from 2:00 - 3:00 at Diversions.

E-mails will be sent out on Friday to confirm attendance and wine selections for this event.

P.S. I turned down the 5:00 to 6:00 time slot because that is the Captain's Cocktail reception. Lots of drinking going on that day!!

Sorry men but I have a fashion question. A high scale store told me that it is not "in" to wear black nylons for formal wear. I have a formal black long dress and a black semi formal knee length dress that I need to buy nylons for. Would you go wear black nylons, tan or go without? Would you wear flip flops? Help this fashion challenged person please.

I have never been in the IN crowd. I am bringing black nylons for my black dresses. Nude for another dress and back up! Another pair of black hose for a back up and if I ruin all of the hose then I will go without!

We got our docs today! Yippee! Our travel agent was through Continental Airlines, but docs came directly from Disney.

I got one suitcase packed yesterday... need to buy one more present for my secret fool. Then we should be close to being set

Hooray! That's perfect! Joe and I will be there with wine bottle in hand, got it packed already. A friend of ours had some shipped to their house and it came in a pressed cardboard insert which she kindly gave to me. Yay!

However, we are STILL WAITING on the docs.

Donna, don't sweat the room tour. We will start on 8 so everyone can see the amazing rooms early. I feel guilty limiting the number of people on the tour but otherwise it would have gotten out of hand (as if it isn't close already)

Took the leap of faith and mailed a box off to the cruise. Saved 17lbs of luggage and cost $20 I think that's a pretty good deal.

No docs here! UPS truck was up the street and I was watching for a stop at my house - not meant to be today!

I am planning to wear black hose with my black formal also. Never claimed to be in fashion!

Wow, so many different perspectives on nylons. Amazing! I am a faired skinned red head so my feet definitely won't be tanned. I think nylons has to be worn just for some color for me. My feet never see sunlight due to feet problems, also.

Tracy, I already put in the wine tasting time and place in my itinerary. Can't wait! We also have high tea that day.

The secret is out. I infomed DH of the trip earlier this evening. He was happy that I was going, amazed that my mother still has the get up and go at her age to do it, and will try to be able to take me to the airport the day I leave. I won't talk about the trip any more to him, and he will most likely forget that I am going!

Are your sure? I had just decided to forgo that but maybe they got wise - do you know what they are planning? On the July cruise our waiters mentioned the long lines when they found out we had been on that one. Although it was hard to tell if they were at us or if they just thought we were crazy! Thinking back I had to and shake my head also. Can't believe we stood in those lines! Remind me again why we did that? Laura

Deb - I have one suitcase packed too - mostly the boys' stuff - but the clothes in there are getting really wrinkled! Are you doing anything special to stop the wrinkles?
Sandy - no nylons for me! I don't have tanned feet either, but my evening shoes are open toed so that made the choice easy.

I have a question for Fools with multiple cats - if you are leaving them home do you just leave their food out so they can eat whenever? (dry food) My sister is coming over everyday to check on them. But my problem is that one cat is soooo skinny and the other is very overweight. I have taken the skinny one to 3 vets and all say he is in perfect health - just thin. But he can't be bothered to eat so I feed him many times/day. I can't leave food out all the time because the overweight one will just keep eating. If I leave the food out for the almost 3 weeks we are gone I'm not sure what will happen to my plump kitty! Anyone have any ideas?

I'm not doing anything special to stop the wrinkles. Except ironing! I needed to pack something or else I'll stress out too much the night before. I wish I could pack our summer clothes we are wearing now... oh well.

No docs for us yet. Did talk to TA and he said Disney told him they were mailed to him this past Monday. He said when he received them he will send them to me priority mail. Which means I should have them sometime next week. I know it really shouldn't be that big of a deal since we can download the forms off the website. When we cruised with RCCL last February they did not send out any forms, you just downloaded them from the site. Just not as much fun as getting that package in the mail.

There is a pet food dish with a timer that I have used in the past when I had a non-stop eating fat cat, lol. It pops open when the timer runs out; your sister would just need to refill & reset it each day. Might be just what you need.

Has anyone booked transfers with Disney from the resort to the pier?

If so do you documents have vouchers indicating pick up times and transfer info?? My documents seem abit confusing with minimal info.

Any help on clarifying this for me??

Does anyone know about air regulations and knitting needles? I probably can't bring it on my carry on, but can I pack them in my suitcase and be okay? I can always post on the main board also.

Packed our games last night. I know nobody was interested in playing games, but if you see us playing Pinochle and would like to join, please say so! I just learned how and a little obsessed by the game now.
