Bringing Sand Ceremony Back

Hi,

Has anyone had any problems bringing a sand container back on a flight out of the US? How did you do it?

I've found a gorgeous one I'd like to use but wondered if it caused any problems leaving or going back through security.

No customs problems bringing mine back to Canada, but even with tissue paper packed in tight it all got shaken together so that there were no more layers. Seemed silly to keep a container of pink sand so I threw it away. (I'm not very sentimental...)

We are going to be bringing ours back. We wont be going through customs. We will be flying with it though. We have a vase and not a container. I found the materials to make a gel candle in a tub that we're just going to squeeze over the sand to seal it. just a thought...we're hoping it is going to look a little something like this

i stuffed mine with tissue paper that my flowers came in and then wrapped it in a towel and it got home fine, the sand moved a bit but still all ok
