I am totally in such a great mood right now and I of course felt it necessary to share with fellow Dis'ers....DBF and I were just at WDW June 12-19th and upon returning I fell into symtoms of post-disney depression
(dont we all?) and I made DBF sign a contract saying we would return during 2008 year. While I had his word we would go back, I knew that saving up would be a problem. We're both college students and lately have been majorly struggling from paycheck to paycheck. And despite all that I have been having an amazinly stressfull week--- I'm dealing with health issues and trying to get out of a week long trip next week because of them and its just.. ahhh... one of those weeks. Anywaysssss. DBF are in process of taking out student loans to totally pay off credit card debt (being the interest is so much lower than the credit card) which will save us literally a couple hundred a month. And of top of that DBF had a job interview yesterday for this major company and got called back today saying he was hired! Now bringing in at least an extra $200 a week for the Disney fund. After hearing he got this job, it made both of us really realize we can now afford Disney for real!! Plus we are starting doing reviews for the expo tv thing (found out about in on budget board) so that will add even more! Between his new job, the reviews, our work study... I can't wait to actually have money to save up!!
On our last trip I had a gift basket made up with Mickey wine glasses and a bottle of sparkling grape juice and we've been saving it for the special disney day when we have started up saving enough, so with this good news of the job we will definitly be toasting to our upcoming disney trip tonight! Now all I want to do is start looking at dates and seeing where we want ADRs
I'm sad I know.. and although no one probably cares... I most definitly AM DOING the happy dance today! Disney fund jar... get ready for some major donations!!!!
