We'll be arriving the 24th and staying at the BCV until the 26th.

We could meet up!

Our plans for those days are around the Epcot area anyway. We have Dinner reservations on the 24th for Le Cellier and the 25th for Cape May. We can talk about it on the Member Cruise (I can't wait). Thanks for the good wishes on the new job Janet.

Myself and another Vancouver DISer were thinking about a DISmeet in August. I know there were a few of you in the Seattle area that got together and we would like to find somewhere that maybe everyone would want to meet at. Do you have any ideas of a good half way point that we could have a DISmeet at?

When in August were you thinking of? I don't actually know what's halfway between here and Vancouver :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Maybe Tacoma? I think BishopFamily can talk better about Tacoma, and they happen to live in Vancouver, I think. Richard, are you there???

I could give suggetions about this area, though. popcorn:: popcorn::

Great! That means you got into the GG Event too? :woohoo: :woohoo:

Right now we arrive on the 24th but the problem is, when you arrive back, we'll be boarding the Magic! and don't come back until the 30th. Hmmmmmm.

No, I haven't called WDW-PLAN yet. Too much on my plate this week. If I don't get in, I'll hold you responsible and you'll have to meet me at Whispering Canyon for dinner! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hmmm...looks like a quick wave at the terminal, then! :wave2: :wave2:

Dee we will be staying @ BCV from Dec. 21 through 28th. We could definitely meet.

Let's plan on it, then! :thumbsup2

Speaking of compulsive planning (who me? :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 ), I got my London B&B booked for next August. That's sick.

A Saturday in August. Haven't come up with an actual date yet. We live in a suburb of Portland. The last DISmeet I put together was 2 years ago and we met at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse (McMenamins). Outside seating made it great for the kids because they could play while we all chatted.

Maybe the Bishop Family will speak up about a half way point that would be good for the kids too.

OK, but we leave for WDW on 8/28. Just FWI.

Now how did you get your ADR's already! I thought we couldn't do them until 180 days?

I haven't even thought about where since I thought I had until next week! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

See you in October!

Someone posted on the dinning board that if staying on property you can make ADR's 180 + 10 days. I called MS and had no problems making all my ADR's from the 21st through the 28th. I got all the restaurants and times that I wanted.

I will keep that in mind. I was thinking middle of August. Our DD has a karate tournament in Eugene the last weekend in August.

I've officially added myself now to both events. Thanks Janet! How many of us are definetly going?

I don't have an official count 'cause I'm waiting to hear back from a few that have shown interest.

But off the top of my head..........

11 give or take 4 people!

No wonder the GG people are having problem with the bookings! :lmao: :lmao:

It's definately gonna be a GRAND GATHERING!

This is gonna be so much fun!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hi everyone, my family [dh, 3dd, ds and myself] have just booked two staterooms for the return crossing. Now all we have to do is watch the airfare. I guess we're still a little ways out to be looking for that. :wizard:

Welcome Cruiseletters!

As for airfare, this bunch has already reasearched and we will all be helping each other out with our finds! :thumbsup2

TGIF IT"S FRIDAY AND ANOTHER WEEK CLOSER!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Welcome Cruiseletters!!!!

Janet, TGIF indeed. I've never been so glad to see a week be over with. This was definately the week from hell.

Sure. On the boys' side my DS is at the end of the table, next is BishopFamily's DS and DD (in her daddy's lap). The girls are BethE (in a flowered dress) who's actually doing the eastbound repo, and BishopFamily's DW is in a white sweater.

Sorry I missed you. We spent the afternoon in the emergency room again with the blood clot they are having a hard time regulating meds. We were ready to go after the blood check but they sent is to Tacoma General instead.

I'm stealing the pics Dee. Thanks for taking them.

Linda :sad2:

I am having my doubts about this cruise... :sad2:
Not sure if I will be able to handle sailing across the Atlantic!! Please send some Pixie Dust my way that I will have a smooth sailing in two weeks to Bermuda. If it is rough, I may totally chicken out!! :teeth: I keep thinking there has to be a reason other lines don't sail until late Oct. or Nov... Hurricanes!!

On the other hand, I am gaining hope that I will be able to rebook this repo when I am onboard in December 06. The Cat 6 prices have only gone up $100/pp while cat 11 hasn't changed. If I can rebook and get the 10% discount plus the onboard credit from DCL I will be in heaven!! I didn't make a booking while onboard in Jan. because I was waiting for the Med and figured it wouldn't apply being a special sailing. Of course now I know it does! :guilty:

Linda, I'm so sorry! I hope your daughter is better now. pixiedust: :grouphug:
