We are bringing friends with us to disney world this spring break. My husband and I are DVC members and bring our 2 boys 15 and 7 every year. Since we have been several times, we sort of have a "pace" and have figured out what we like best. We have to slow down and change how we "do" disney. Our friends have never been to DW as a family (my friend went with her parents many years ago.) They have two children a girl 6 and boy 2 3/4.
I have talked to my family and they are totally open with changing the pace - we want our friends to have a wonderful disney experience. We will see more shows and more of the "kiddy" stuff. (my 7 year old can go either way - he always wants to keep pace with his older brother so we usually skip the younger stuff)
I dont have a lot of money to work with, but I have been purchasing things to send to the kids from their "fairy Godmother" such as disney backpacks filled with disney stuff from the dollar isle at target.
I have also collected glow necklaces for the parks. What other things can I do to help our friends feel AT HOME the way we do when we go "home"
thanks!
