I'm sure you could ride to DDD but I would not try to ride around I would park and walk. As far as locking bikes up you might de able to lock them under the stairs I can not remember what the stairs are like but that is what we did @ HH. Hope this helps.
We took the walk to DTD a couple of times. I know that there is a bike rack just before the bridge going from SSR to DTD and a sign that says "Bikes are not permitted beyond this point." There were many bikes locked up there.
As for storing/ locking up the bikes at SSR I just can't remember if there was an ideal location or not.
You'd have to keep them in your room or in your vehicle. There isn't anyplace to attach them to under the stairs. I think the stairs were closed underneath. Anywhere else and you would be either blocking access for a guest or for maintenance.
If you tried to ride them over to DTD, where would you lock them up there? The sidewalk/bridge over to DTD from Congress Park isn't that wide, either. And the road is heavily traveled by cars and buses.
Thanks or the responses. I've seen the bike racks at DTD, which is what made me think it would be nice to have them, but without a bike rack at the resort, that really takes away from the attraction of it. Oh well. Maybe they'll eventually add them at each section.
