I've read about people bringing beer and wine on board. How do you bring it on board? Just carry the case over your shoulder and the wine in your hand or do you have to concel it.:bounce:

We brought a 12-pack in a carry-on. My brother brought a 6-pack in a regular old grocery store plastic bag. No questions asked.

You don't have to conceal a thing. Disney is amazingly tolerant of this, considering that they sell these products on board. I have seen people with multiple cases of beer, wheeling them right onto the ship! I purchased a 12 pack in St. Maarten and lugged it right on through. I didn't even get a second glance.

No Worries!

We too have brought alcohol on board in our carry-on. We sometimes bring wine coolers for our crew friends, and I am worried about the glass bottles breaking in our checked luggage. I carry them in a large tote bad, and we have never had any problem.

I have one of those soft coolers with wheels and a handle. I was just planning on getting some 12 packs of soda and beer down there, putting them into that and leaving it with our luggage the day we board. Will that work?

I have a soft side cooler but it is not rolling. Can I bring it on using a wheeled luggage carrier. You know, one of those "old timey" things you put your suitcases on when they didn't have wheels????

uh oh......I'm telling my age....*LOL*:o

We cruised last August. I bought a soft sided wheeling cooler, packed it with beer and soda and wheeled it right on board - no questions asked, no problems! I would not, however, check the beverages with your luggage, have heard some horror stories about luggage handling - cans exploding, bottles breaking. Better to bring it as a carry on to the boat.
Also, get your cooler bag, fold it up and pack it in your luggage until you get to Florida area - do not pack cans/bottles on the plane - you WILL have a mess on your hands!

Happy Travels!

We took a case of Corona and 2 bottles of wine onboard in a softsided cooler we had bought at Sams. We carried it on with us. Our room was ready 1hr. after we boarded, so we didn't have to deal with it for long. We left it open on the coffee table in our room in the mornings and our Cabin Steward kept it full of ice for us...always came back later that afternoon to ice cold wine/beer...ordered the cheese and cracker tray from room service and enjoyed it while we got ready for dinner. It was great!
