Bring back the old buns!

So, I'm not up on the latest news. Are the new buns whole wheat? Is there any nutrition information anywhere?

Normally, I'd applaud having whole wheat buns, but I need to watch (minimize) my fiber intake vacation...
You don't need to worry. They are not whole wheat. I can't remember exactly what they are called (?enhanced?), but they appear to have a little wheat added. They are still white(ish) with brown dots. The problem is that they are dry and fall apart very easily.

They taste OK, but sure do fall apart! Anyone try eating the BBQ sandwich from Pecos Bills on one of these?? It was a joke to even have a bun--it went away before I even started to eat! :rotfl: My favorite thing about these buns happened last Jan at Casey's. I asked the teenager serving me why they had the wheat buns. His reply--because it's healthy for you. Then he cracked up laughing!

We were just there last week and didn't notice anything different about the buns either. In fact, I had made a big stink to my husband about how the buns were gross according to the DIS. They didn't even look like whole wheat, and I'm not a whole-wheat person. *shrug*

It sounds like some days the rolls are fresh and sometimes they are stale. Maybe that is why they are falling apart. Either way that is not a good thing. Disney should be serving a product that people want to eat.
