If you have something shipped to AKL, the rules would be this:
Receiving Mail
Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can receive mail throughout their stay. Occasionally, some Guests choose to ship items in advance of their vacation to help save luggage space.
If you intend to receive mail during your vacation, be sure the letter or package:
Please note that a $6 per package handling fee will apply to all packages that are received through the Front Desk or are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room.
- Includes the mailing address of your Disney Resort Hotel
- Clearly features the word “Guest” on the front and the date of your arrival

Pre-COVID, if you had something shipped to BWV, the rules would be different because BoardWalk has a convention center. Pre-COVID, if a hotel had a convention center and an item was shipped by UPS or FedEx, it was received at the convention center business office, and the business office charged a fee. But since BoardWalk Inn has not re-opened yet, I don't know if the BoardWalk's Convention Center Business Office is open.
The fee charged by the Convention Center Business Office:
Parcel Handling Fees
Handling fee includes receipt of item from carrier, storage for up to 3 days, onetime Guest package delivery or pickup, placing item with carrier for shipment, and tracking. Postage is not included.
Package Weight Package Handling Fee 0 to 5 lbs $5 6 to 20 lbs $10 21 to 40 lbs $15 41 to 69 lbs $20 Display Cases 0-69 lbs $25 70 to 134 lbs $100 Over 135 lbs $0.75 per lb
Prices are subject to change.
