Bring a stoller/rent a stroller or both?

We're planning our first trip to WDW in early December and I have 3 boys ages - 8, 4 (almost 5 by trip time) and a toddler who will be 17 months when we're in WDW. (The two older boys never ride in the stroller, but the 4 year old has been known to complain about being tired.)

I know I will need a stroller for the soon to be 17 month old, and I'm debating whether or not I should bring my big comfy stroller, my umbrella stroller or just rent a stroller at the park. (My double jogger is way too big for travel and doesn't have a rotating wheel.) If I just rent a stroller at the park I would probably rent a double so the two older boys can switch off riding in it when they get tired.

I noticed on some of the boards there's a company which rents strollers too. Would that be a more viable option? We'll be flying to FL so a stroller would be good for the airport, but we can also just carry our DS in a pack too.

We're staying on-site and plan to take breaks as needed for naps, swimming, decompressing, etc.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jyll

We took DS when he was 19 months and brought our McClaren Volo which folds down to the umbrella stroller size (and has a cool shoulder strap). We had no problem using it in the airport or any of the disney parks. However, DS felt better during crowded times being carried by DH. I like to bring a stroller and save the money of renting it. Plus if you bring it, you have it both at the airport and back at your hotel. (We stayed at CBR and that has lots of walkikng.) We will be bringing it again this year - DD will be 21 months and I figure DS (now 4) may use if for short periods if he is really tired.

Just returned from Disney. I have a toddler & preschooler. We took our umbrella stroller for our 22 month old - gate checked it at airport. And then I rented a double stroller from Orlando Stroller. It was worth the money. My daughter loved it so much - she was upset when we had to return it. We did use our umbrella stroller one night when we split up - hubby & dgtr went to epcot, son & I went shopping.

This worked well for us.
