Hello Everyone! :flower3:

I have to decide on where to choose a bridesmaid dress from...ASIDE from David's Bridal. Where did you get your bridesmaid dresses from? Any website links to suggest I take a peak at? Thanks! :thumbsup2

I have no input on where to select them from, but once you pick them and have the girls try them on I HIGHLY suggest looking on ebay to buy them. After being a bridesmaid in a recent wedding I went to sell my dress online and saw that there were a ZILLION of the same exact one in the same color in every size & they were only going for a buck plus S&H. Apparently it was a popular choice. I only wished I had looked BEFORE I bought it at full price! now Im stuck with it.

The ALfred ANgelo ones are beautiful if you have a store near you that carries them!

I agree with Mimi - Alfred Angelo has some beautiful dresses. We didn't end up going that route, but definitely considered it.:thumbsup2

We dealt with Carolyn Allen's in Orlando. They were wonderful to work with. They ordered all the dresses and kept them at their shop until it was time for everyone to have them fitted. The girl's who were out of town, they sent their dresses to them. The day of the wedding they came to the hotel room and steamed all the dresses including mine (Mother of the Bride). They are great!!!!!

I'm planning on getting mine from David's Bridal. It's the only chain I know of, and there's one near Disney, so that'll take the stress down in case something goes wrong (although of course I hope that won't happen), plus my Lady of Honor (lol) lives in L.A. now so I dunno how she could try on dresses from someplace here (near Boston) beforehand unless it was at my bridal shower which she might try and go to, but that's not until Dec. and we're doing dresses in August! LOL.

I wanted simple brown dresses for my Bridesmaids (and I only have 2), and we went to lots of stores in the mall, all of the department stores and stores like LIMITED, and EXPRESS and tried on a lot of dresses. I was surprised at how hard it was to find such a simple dress. We ended up at Alfred Angelo and found so much more selection!

well, you gotta be flexible, but the last wedding I was in we all went to the mall, found a dress we all liked in Belk and we bought them.......and they even shipped one to the other BM in LA! And i have worn it to 3 weddings since!

For my girls, I had a few styles from Vera Wang picked out and we went to a salon (Solutions Bridal) in Orlando while we all were in WDW for a girls w/e (one lives in Jersey, the other Colorado, and me in FL); they had the styles I liked and I let the girls try 'em on and choose which they preferred. Maybe try and go w/ a designer that you know is in your girls areas so they can give their 2 cents on which dress they prefer to be in. It makes a difference esp. in the way they feel on your day.

We got my girls dresses from JCrew!! THey have a selection online but I found what I wanted and went to the store with a coupon and ordered them with free shipping. We where also able to try them and return them to the store if they didnt fit (which we did have to do)!! Plus it is totally a dress that they could wear again. If we had more $$ DH wanted me to get the same dress!!!

Mine were B2 by Jasmine. One of my BMs was 7 months pregnant, and I wanted them all to look the same. They have maternity styles that match several of their regular style. Plus, I wanted a very specific shade of dusty purple.

I also REALLY liked Morilee. I would have gone with them, but they had no maternity, and it was too hard to figure out if they could be altered without seeing them in person (couldn't do that from Germany).

My bridesmaids dresses are coming from Alfred Angelo. I love their dresses! This is the dress that they will be wearing.

I work in a bridal salon and some of my favorite BM designers are Alvina Valenta, Vera Wang, Lazaro, Watters, and Dessy. The most important thing of all though is to make sure that if all your girls are wearing the same color, to order them all through just one store, because dye lots can vary in pigmentation, and you want to make sure all the dresses come from the same lot so that there is no difference in pigment which can be noticeable when the girls stand next to each other. Good luck!! :cheer2:
