I've just had my total floral cost sent to me. I asked for a silk bouquet for my 16 year old bridesmaid. The cost was $145. I was wondering how i could lower this cost and how much others have paid for their bouquets. My bridesmaids is oing to be silk but silk isn't that much more than real. I only want her to have a small bouquet with about 10 roses at the most. I really like PrincessBride010103's bridesmaid bouquet. I've seen a few pictures of the bridesmaid wands and their not quite what i'm looking for.

Does anyone have any idea how i can reduce the cost of my bridesmaid bouquet? Does it seem expensive to you guys? And do Disney make smaller bouquets or do bouquets just come a standard size and price?

Thanks

Orangetiggs have you got any pictures of the wands? Thats a lot cheaper. How many flowers do you get in your wands?

i dont, waiting for them to be sent. I saw it in francks. that price is for a single rose but I have seen brides on here do more roses.

I'm waiting on prices for more and pictures.

I have them for my adults bm and my sister who is 12. I just think they are fun and you really could not get away with them anywhere else other than disney so why not!

My flowers are around 12 inches in diameter and are $300

We're doing orange rose wands for $35 apiece. I believe they each have 3 roses. I'll try to find the stock rosewand pic that floats around on the boards.

Blimey thats alot for a bouquet. I'm quite lucky because i'm having the Escapes package i get flowers included so have just had to pay $100 to upgrade. I'd like my bridesmaid to have a few flowers, although shes not too fussed if she has any at all. She just wants the dress and her hair nice.lol :rotfl: If i can get a few more flowers say 6-8 in a wand and its cheaper i might do that. $145 just seems quite a lot for a 16 year old who doesn't want flowers at all.

Although mine and my bridesmaids mickey silk drawstring purses are $35 each. I don't really want to bump them as they are soooo cute.

theya re cute, i like the carriage one when i saw them.

I have pics of that in my planning session report

You can ask for fewer flowers, or just give them your final price and ask what they can create with that (which is what we did) this is my MOH bouquet we asked for a 75dollars bouquet…and this is what she got….it was back in 06 so might be a bit more now, but they will work with you on price

Hi. I'm getting real flowers for my MOH and BM... the tussy mussy bouquets , and they are $125. That's a little cheaper than your silk flowers, but not much. :worried:

My Disney Florist sent me these pics of the triple flower wand, by the way. Enjoy!

Disney will work with you. Just tell them you want a smaller bouquet with less expensive flowers if possible.

I'm having silk roses for my girls (15 and 11) Rosie did 12 roses and 3 crystal mickey's for $100 each. I didn't think that was too bad as it saved my getting them from the UK and bring them over. If you can wait a few weeks i'l have pictures! VR is July 1st!

Just an update...

I spoke to Rosie and shes going to do me 10 silk roses for $90 thank-you all for your help. Do you think 10 roses is ideal for a 16 year old? I presume that silk roses are slightly larger than real ones so it should be a cute sized bouquet

Thank-you all:thumbsup2

My BMs are going to have a single large white calla lilly that will be wrapped with ribbon and a crystal mickey closure for $26 a piece. I don't have a pic yet though.
