I wore the bridal headband on our wedding/honeymoon trip. DH's head was too big for the groom top hat, and yes, you do get teased *a lot* by CM's
We just explained about his head being too big, they laughed and all was well. So if you don't want to be teased, make sure you both wear something. We didn't mind, well *I* didn't mind, DH got tired of it and embarassed after a while. 
As far as perks go, we were happy with what happened - although we did go in trying to expect nothing. A lot of "congrats" and questions about the wedding from lots of people, we liked it, but again if you're shy it probably wouldn't be the best thing in the world! We were "announced" a few times by bus drivers and when going through the security lines to get in the parks, and got applauded. We did get our own boat at Norway, but it wasn't very crowded. We were on the Silver Plan so no perks there, but in the MK restaurants our tables were decorated with streamers and pixie dust. At CRT we got a champagne glass, and our favorite - at Tony's they had us recreate Lady and the Tramps first kiss (awwwwwww).
And be forewarned - several times we got mini-lectures from CMs about how to have a happy marriage. And it wasn't like we were fighting/angry/tense, there we were minding our own business, and... Twice we got rather lengthy lectures about how they kept packing their bags to leave, but stuck it out, and now they've been together 30 years. Not very inspriational! but it was nice to know that they cared. I think? lol!
We went this year again for our first anniversary minus the ears. We asked to have it listed on our PS, and got just as nice of tables as when we had the ears. No pixie-dust, but on the plus side it was much quieter.
So if you want to wear them go for it, you've been warned
