Really, so sad and so surprising. My daughter and I took a quick trip down two weeks ago and sat in the front of the monorail coming back from Epcot. You always feel so special sitting up front. I commented to our monorail driver that I thought she had the best job in all of WDW.
I'm just stunned, with all the safety precautions and safety systems, that such an event could even take place.
OMG That is so sad. The poor CM's family and the scare it must have put in the other CM as well as the guests on board. Thank god no one else was seriously injured.

Oh, this is terrible! Bless the family and friends of that CM. The photos on CNN are awful, you can tell there is no way that CM could have survived. I hope that they are able to find out what went wrong and correct it.
We are leaving for FL tomorrow and will be at WDW on the 10th. This is pretty scary.
I'm sitting here trying to figure out how the driver could just crash into the other one. I wonder if there was a brake failure or if something happened to the driver before the crash?
