boys are home! Dinner time.


No, I wasn't a dress girl until Alison convinced me that I needed to take a dress to the World in May 2010. I don't think I even had a day dress in my cupboard. But I found one on sale in Feb last year that I thought would be good for Florida so I took it with me. Glad I did....I wore it on resort changeover day and I was pleased I had it on when I walked into the BC foyer.


Since then, I've probably acquired about 3 more dresses.

Happy dinner time
I was a very girly girl when I was little. Then basically stopped wearing dresses. But restarted .... Mainly because of DBF. I'm quite a fan of skirts now. My issue with dresses is finding the right one that fits me well. The ones I've come to realise work fairly well are a bit pricy of course.....so me like sales
But my hardest thing is finding ones with sleeves. Even just a capped sleeve. Is it really that hard to make?
Sleeveless isn't a look I like...on me...

Nearly home

I can't even wear things with sleeves until November rolls around and by the time February pops up I'm back to tank tops.

DH lives with his head in the clouds. The other day, he 'lost' his keys. He'd left them on the dining table...in a room he rarely enters....and I'd seen them there. Rather than move them back to the normal place, I left them there and then watched the panic set in the next morning. Just before he hit the peak of the frenzy, I told him where they were. I'm a cruel woman....sometimes.

I can just see you sitting there calmly whilst he is freaking out.

Just gone 8 am here. I'm just having some toast and coffee. Found out that we finished the white bread yesterday; so I had to make my toast with DH's dark rye. It wouldn't be so bad if it were light rye instead.

How are you and how is Fran? Did you get any news back from the Dr?

No news since the blood test the other day. She started three more days of the antibiotics today. Hopefully she'll be done Sunday.

I don't think I would like dark rye either.
