Hope it stays dry. Out of curiosity will DS be one of the older kids there?

DS was one of the older kids there....but not the oldest "kids". Some of the adults were trick or treating as well....especially when they realised we had a very limited supply of candy corn to hand out.

I would say there would have been about 150 - 200 kids there. There were a few teenage boys and I think there would have been about 20 teenage boys and about the same for girls. The rest were smaller than DS.

I figure that there were about 50 - 75 cars with open car trunks today.

DS came home with a stash to rival a MNSSHP collection.

The idea is that you buy candy you don't mind polishing off when the kids don't measure up. We get hardly any here, I'm thinking of posing as sex offenders and turning off our lights. We were supposed to be at WDW, but unfortunately Fran will probably have to be IV dosing. How do I deal with kids and her IV? Perhaps I should put up a sign "bacterial infection present here" NOT a Halloween Joke....

I see your Hong Kong ticker! It's been there for a few days!

That will be for tomorrow night; when there is no guarantees of how many kids will come a-knocking on our door for Halloween.

For today, ALL my candy is g-o-n-e. There were a lot of people there and it was a lot of fun.

HK ticker is up...but so is my HK PTR link. I hope you can see that one as I only put it up today.

I see your ticker, and the PTR link. I dont buy candy so I dont worry about giving it out. I have to put up a paper around our outside light as we cant turn it off. I hate that. Apt complex has control of that.:sad2:

I can't see the PTR link. That's why I put my recent stuff first since my tickers often disappear when viewing from my phone.

Wow Dana only pops in and out once in a blue moon

I was watching baseball on Thursday and Friday nights and spent yesterday baking and then out with DBF and a couple of friends. We went to some club. I wasn't particularly thrilled, but it was fun.

Yeah, no kidding. I usually only see him on the weekends now, though, since my work schedule is pretty much Monday-Friday.

You look really cute! He is definitely a geek to pick that uniform! :rotfl2: Good job!

Moonday moaning! It seems to come round quicker and quicker.

The good news is that tomorrow is public holiday for Melbourne. We're celebrating the Melbourne Cup Race. Yup.....a public holiday....all day.....for a 3 and the half minute race.

So, DS is not going to go to school today...whilst classes are still on, they traditionally just run a couple of movies and do not much during the day. Half the class is usually away as their parents have decided to take a 4-day weekend. The schools used to have a 'curriculum' day on the Monday before cup-day; but the state government put an end to that! So, it becomes a de facto day because of parents deciding to go away for a short break.

What kind of race? Are there a lot of after parties?
