They needed to be individually wrapped pieces of candy. And given how many I had to source, I kept it on the bulk/cheap side. M&M are not exactly cheap over here.

I understand, they aren't cheap here compared to other candy either.

What happened to your signature? Did you add in HK and it got too long?

I've gotten as far as the ticker. Haven't updated my siggie with HK yet. Have to work out if it fits!

I guess I better start getting dressed for the Trunk or Treat thing. We probably need to leave in the next 20 minutes or so.

Have a nice afternoon all...er....night.

Might catch you tomorrow.

I'm hoping to be rich in chocolate in a couple days. DS has to share.

mmmmm.....candy.....
I'll chip a quarter your way usnuz :)

There is a box of Godiva from Hong Kong airport calling my name...

Sorry. I was trying to be sweet not sour your stomach.

Roads vary a lot in the US. You aren't likely to see it but there are roads near me that get special markings because they aren't plowed. They are covered with packed snow, and make the show "Ice Road Truckers" not so thrilling.

YIKES! I like my pothole filled SoCal roads just fine, thank you very much!

The idea is that you buy candy you don't mind polishing off when the kids don't measure up. We get hardly any here, I'm thinking of posing as sex offenders and turning off our lights. We were supposed to be at WDW, but unfortunately Fran will probably have to be IV dosing. How do I deal with kids and her IV? Perhaps I should put up a sign "bacterial infection present here" NOT a Halloween Joke....

I see your Hong Kong ticker! It's been there for a few days!

I have more in common with Canadians than NZ folk...

Such as living in a place that has an uneven population distribution? Canada wants to be near the US. Oz wants to be near New Zealand.

I think California roads are good on the interstates, but some of the rural highways are old. Where as roads near me get resurfaced often but still aren't as smooth, but certainly not crumbling on the edges. It's clearly a case of which state has more money available.

Would you get many otherwise at your house?

Ha....our roads are nearly all bad... :lmao: Especially the National Highway :rotfl:
I love the Freeways in LA....ahhhh....

One of our wine regions - The Hunter Valley - the roads are SHOCKING!! The edges are fraying and the entire 'surface' is pocked with craters. A plain dirt road would be less jarring...and yes I've been on dirt/gravel roads in Western Australia.

A number of years ago we were considering a holiday to NZ to ski. We never got round to it and then a couple of kids I was at uni with were killed when their car went off one of the roads to the ski resort :sad2:
