ToonTown is definitely desperate for something new and fun. Surprised they're not razing Roger Rabbit to do it, though. That ride is always breaking down, and it's just an OK ride attached to a forgotten movie. Still, the fact that we're getting a Plus1 helps relieves crowds elsewhere.
As for the fireworks being saved for weekends, that's sorta how it works except Christmas time and the Summer. Hopefully, summer is still full fireworks. BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, projections? Are they going to increase the size of the castle to Orlando size (189 ft)? Because projections on that castle are awesome because everyone can see them. But projections on a 70 ft building (with most of the building below 50 ft), I've barely seen them from Main Street and it's kinda week due to where it's being projected.
I do agree that fireworks at DL get cancelled far too frequently, so this is a good option. I guess.
