I wish I was pregnant now. That Bella Swan has made me feel many things: that I'm older than my DBF (which is true), that I wanted to get engaged, that I want to get married and now she makes me wanna have babies!

Those are funny. I like the comments on Amazon about the sayings the characters are saying now after the release of BD. Some of those are so hysterical whether you liked the book or not.

I guess SM wanted to go right from the falling in love to the having Renesme-interesting! Glad that the publisher talked her into more books-I can't imagine the story without New Moon or Eclipse-both such awesome books!

Now we just have to wait for Midnight Sun

Using my 1000th post to say...

I did like several elements of the book.

The Wedding
The Pregnancy
The fact that Bella did change (it should have been a more romantic change though)
The fact that Bella proved to be strong and able to protect herself and everyone on her side.
The fact Edward could finally read her mind.

I did NOT like
Renesmee's name (or nickname)... oy
Jacob inprinting on the baby
The fact that there was NOT an epic fight with the Volturi. THe cullens should have become the new head Vampires and shown that you don't have to kill humans to be immortal.

I could go on, but I'm tired!

I loved the wedding (and call me sick if you want), but I thought that after 3 FREEKIN BOOKS I would at least get a little (censored if anything) honeymoon play-by-play if you know what I mean. Seriously!! She went from being wrapped in his arms .....to waking up lying across his chest..WHAT HAPPENED IN BETWEEN!!

I cannot believe that this is the "last" book in the series. There has to be more...besides Midnight Sun. I think in the last few pages she (SM) did leave little drops of what could become a fifth novel. Maybe it is wishful thinking, but I already miss the characters and I just finished the book less than an hour ago. I will be re-reading, but I am going to give myself a day to really LONG for Bella and Edward. I also wish SM would write a book from Alice's perspective - THAT would be so cool!

I doubt it will be the last book. We'll see more Nessie/Jacob and Leah for sure. The Volturi are still there and strong and I'm sure they'll come looking for Nessie soon, because Aro is a creeper with a taste for pretty girls... *shudders*

CP thanks for the Q&A and I got a big kick out of the possible tshirt quotes...I finished the book today after trying to prolong the inevitable as much as I could and I have read several of the posts about everyones feelings ....I understand well what all of you are saying, my friend is saying the exact same thing...she was very disappointed in it but I have to say that I really liked the book...yes! it was very farfetched and yes! it didnt go at all where I expected but once I accepted that this wasnt going the way the other 3 books went I really started liking it....I personally am glad they didnt have to fight the volturi...it didnt let me down at all....Im happy with the turn of events and now knowing that stephenie initially wrote this series with nessie and all of these events before she even thought about edward and bella "the early years" it makes a little more sense to me...the only thing I can say is that I think the series should have ended with eclipse and added the wedding at the end and then maybe started something else separate from that including nessie and all the events that followed...but who am I???? definitely not an author

I truly had no desire to read a play-by-play on what happened to make the pillows explode feathers all over the room. My imagination is probably better than anything that could have been written about that activity.
