Breakfast reservations for early park entrance

When I've been 1st in line on 7DMT or Toy Story Mania there are sometimes people already on the rides when there wasn't EMH or a special MK early hrs event. I assumed these were early breakfast people who if done eating before park opens, can walk over and sometimes let on rides few minutes early. I think because of the new main stage rope drop show at MK, you're now able to walk close to the 7DMT line (if willing to miss show) which limits this advantage. I don't think they restrict you from walking across the bridge to Fantasyland. For the other parks such as EP, it may be more of an advantage. Especially FEA if dining in Norway. For those of you have done it, is it worthwhile or minimal benefit because they only get you on rides a few minutes before and not like 15 min.
