I am looking for some suggestions for breakfast for adults. Character meals are fine, but we would prefer some without characters in a more relaxed environment. TIA

Without a doubt, go to KONA CAFE at the Poly. It was the best, most grown up and relaxing meal I have ever had at WDW.

Don't forget to order a french press pot of coffee!

I second Kona Cafe, I had a very nice solo bf there, nice and relaxed. The real Kona coffee was great too. I haven't been to Kouzzina for bf, but I know they offer one without characters. That might be an option?

GF Cafe is the quietest breakfast we have ever had...Kona is excellent, Olivia's was delish. Cannot wait to try Kouzzina and The Wave on our next trip, have read great reviews on them

I would definitely do Kouzzina. They make a mean breakfast and they have a beautiful environment. :)

Are you looking for a table service or a buffet?

For a table service, I also really liked Kona Cafe (pineapple macademia nut pancakes!).

For a buffet, I really liked Boma. There was a good selection of items; some very familiar and some items with a slight African twist.

I'm going to second Kouzzina. They have the best table service breakfast menu on property, and it's executed very well. Also, since this is an adult breakfast, they make a fantastic Bloody Mary.

Although not too quiet because it's a buffet, Boma's was a good breakfast and then Dh and I spent some time wandering around the resort looking at the animals.

I have to get on the Kona boat. Love Kona!! Gotta have my tonga toast!!!

Hard to go wrong with the suggestions so far. Kona is a wonderful menu, and the resort is beautiful. Be warned, their portions are BIG! Boma is an adventure in eating, but not an intimate experience (a buffet). And Kouzzina is elegant, a really nice dining room, and generally not too crowded for breakfast; even if it were, the tables are nicely spaced. A classy menu too. You really can't go wrong with any of them.

I agree! Both Kona and Boma are delicious. You really can't go wrong with either.

Boma's buffet is DBF and I's fave. It's not nearly as noisy there at breakfast as it is at dinner and the variety can't be beat!

Kouzzina is my favorite breakfast on property. The Mediterranean-inspired dishes are all wonderful (and yes, so are the bloody Marys).

Ahhh, thank you for that tidbit. I now have another must do for my next trip.

I agree with a PP, boma isn't crazy at breakfast, and variety is excellent. Coffee is very good too. That being said, I like GF Cafe he most.

We are dvc owners and always stay at BW or BC. Last week we had our first stay at the Dolphin. (it was a last minute trip to food and wine so it was the only Epcot area resort that had availability). We had THE best breakfast there at the Fresh restaurant- it was incredible! it was a buffet but everything except for pastries, meat and fruit was made to order. (you actually gather your own omelette ingredients and the chef makes it to order- along with French toast, pancakes and Mickey waffles). There is a carving station with ham and turkey, two types of oatmeal and you are served coffee, or tea and fresh squeezed on as soon as you are seated. They also have an array of breakfast cocktails on the menu (besides the usual bloody Mary and mimosa) can you tell how much we enjoyed it? We have added it to our "must do" list. (and to be honest , we are not usually breakfast eaters)
