:goodvibes We are going in July and called the GC about breakfast there. They only have the Storytellers character breakfast which seems a little dear. Are there any restaurants or quick bite places nearby for a lite breakfast? Thanks for anything. This going to be our first trip west. Also what are must dos for our two day stay?

Whitewater Snacks is inside the Grand Californian Hotel, right by the pool. They've got lots of breakfast options (from whole meals to just muffins or cereal or the like), will make stuff to order, and are generally not as busy as other places. They also have really reasonable prices. Love that place.

La Brea Bakery is just a short walk away towards the parks and is really great for breakfast. Storytellers is yummy and low key as far as the character part of the breakfast.

Another vote for WhiteWater Snacks (I wonder why they didn't tell you about it?:confused3 ). They have a wonderful breakfast burrito that DD and I split along with a side of fresh fruit - and Disney seems to have the best fruit. Believe me, we live local and the fruit they get is not the same as we buy in our grocery store. They must have their own growers or something. Anyway, they also have french toast sticks, cereal, pastries and a few other options. It is quick, fairly inexpensive and yummy:) . I would give them a try.

Have a great trip.

Another vote for the breakfast burrito at WWS! It is HUGE easyily split between two and you always get HUGE fresh strawberries with each breakfast that are yummy!! Only $4.99 for two to eat a great breakfast!!

The French Toast sticks are good also, and they are only $3.99. Can't beat it!

Oh, and it opens at 7am which I love because you can be in and out in plenty of time for an 8am opening!!

Whitewater is great for breakfast. Good choices and yummy.

You can also buy pastries, bagels at the coffee stand inside the GCH. They open really early (I think 6AM) which worked out well when we had 7A ee days.

Yeah the White Water is a good place. I unfortunately didn't find out about until our last day there last year. I have stayed there several times but never really ventured over that way. Next time I stay there I will be going back.

I like the Storyteller too but if you want quick and easy that's the way to go. The LaBrea is another good one too. I always get a coffee for my drive home at night when we go. And a coffee on the way into the park. Oh yeah they have good food too.:)

:thumbsup2 Thanks for all of the info. When I called the GCH directly, the girl only told me "there's a snackbar by the pool where you can get coffee and a muffin". I don't think she wanders from the phone all that much.
