Breakfast at Cape May - Staying offsite

I'm eating breakfast at Cape May and won't be checking into my Disney package until the next day (long story). Basically I want to eat there and go on to Epcot for my Birthday. What's the best option here? I have a friend who will be staying at BC, so I'll also be meeting up with her.

Can I park at DTD and just go from there, since I planned on eating at T-Rex that evening anyway?

Have the friend get a parking pass for BC for you. Buses to DTD may not run that early in the morning.
