Brazilian Tour Groups

I agree with the PP who said the groups from another country should practice the culture of the country they are visiting.

And so foreign visitors are "in the right" to act just like the group of 600 American cheerleaders that we encountered in February. They all lined up at RnR at park opening and immediately drove the wait time up to 90 minutes at RD. And they sang and cheered and chanted the whole time. Somehow, they were "cute" and Brazilians are "obnoxious". Yes, the notion that cultural norms should be stricted is a good one. But DHS is an amusement park for goodness sake. Not a church or the "quiet car" on a train.

Bad behavior by other groups does not make ill mannered behavior OK.
No. And bad behavior by other groups should also cause us all to focus on the behavior itself and not the nationality. Rudeness is not confined to individual countries.

I agree with your point that its most large groups of young people that are behaving that way. I believe more of us have had experience with the South American groups since they are there more frequently and during the busy summer months, so perhaps that's why they are named more frequently. I can tell by your posts that this feels personal to you, so I hope you aren't offended. All the large groups are something Disney needs to get a much better handle on, but unfortunately, cash is king.

We just got home from Disney and saw only one tour group the entire time we were there. They were wearing yellow shirts in the MK. We stayed at a deluxe resort for the first time and didn't see any of them at the resort. The one group we did see seemed to be very well supervised and very calm and well mannered.
