Is the braised pork at dinner a larger portion than at lunch? is there anything different between the lunch and dinner entree? Just curious if it's better to order at lunch for $10 less....and try something different at dinner. Thanks!

I want to know this too! I'm torn between the chop and braised pork and this will help me decide.

From the looks of pictures I found online, it doesn't look different at all. Only difference I see if lunch is served with mashed potatoes and dinner is mashed cauliflower.

DH & I have had the braised pork 3 different trips for lunch at BOG, but have never wanted to go to dinner there. I wouldn't know if the entree is larger at dinner, but do know that it's large enough for us at lunch so any more would be too much.

I have not done dinner either but the lunch portion was plenty big. I'm not a huge eater but was starving at lunch that day and while i did finish it, i was stuffed. It was really good but it was a bit too fatty for many people. Veggies with it were yummy too.

I absolutely can't wait to go back and have the braised pork! It was heaven! We had it at lunch, and had the seafood and chops at dinner. Everything was super! I was not blown away by our first lunch, where we just had the sandwiches, but the next time, chose the pork, and now I dream about it!:goodvibes

Someone said the pork was the same as the lunch menu. The pork chop is only at dinner. Looking for the review. Thought it was easywdw... But can't find it.

I had the braised pork at lunch last October and it was a lot of food for a CS meal. If they give you more at dinner there is no way I could finish it all. The braised pork was the best meal of the trip and more like a TS meal than a CS one. Excellent value at lunch for the amount and quality of food IMO.

1) Lunch is a pork roast and dinner is a pork chop.
2) Both are braised, but different cuts.

Hmm....the menu for dinner shows
Braised Pork (Coq au Vin Style) - eight-hour slow-cooked pork with mushrooms, onions, carrots and bacon served with pureed cauliflower and seasonal vegetables $22.99

and lunch shows: Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin style) - eight-hour slow-cooked pork with mushrooms, onions, carrots and bacon served with mashed potatoes and green beens jardiniere $11.99

I assumed it was the same thing.

Right. According to the menu, there is a Pork Rack Chop AND the Braised Pork at dinner. Two separate entrees. And the Braised Pork does appear to be the same at both lunch and dinner.

Does anyone know if the pork on the kids lunch menu is the same as the adult version, but just a smaller portion? It sounds like the adult version is a pretty large portion and I'd rather save some room for dessert/snacks. Also I like that the kids version comes with mashed sweet potatoes.

I was wondering this as well. We won't be on the dining plan, so I'm hoping ordering from the children's menu occasionally won't be an issue.

So pork chop it is! Thanks!

I ordered from the childs menu for lunch when I went a few weaks ago. I got the turkey sandwich

To be honest I think lunch is well worth it, but I was very non-plussed with dinner. If you are not on the dining plan it is very expensive and the desserts are exactly the same as lunch and more expensive. I don't think it's worth it. Also, it was very loud in the evening (there was a party of 12 loud inebriated women at the next table) which really reduced our experience. They were on dessert before we sat down and were still drinking and making a lot of noise when we left. I know its not WDW's fault but they really were rowdy.:(
