We have an appointment for my daughter at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, is there anything we could do "special" for her 7 year old brother?

Our three boys actually loved the Knights Package at BBB. They chose it over Pirates League a few years ago and were VERY happy with that decision. I thought it was a great value - the swords and shields they received are worth more than the cost of the package! Just a little gel in their hair (we went light on the colors), Mickey confetti and the best part - a Mickey head in the back. Very fun, and it was an inexpensive way to do something fun in the castle without going to CRT (although we've done that before, too.)

There is pirate activities going on (Pirates League) in which they can become pirates with Jack Sparrow

If he/you aren't into getting made up, you could also have him pick a special treat to have while his sister is getting BBB'd. We did this with my nephew. He picked an ice cream cookie sandwich. We had a great time just hanging out at Sleepy Hollow with his special dessert :)

Pirates League is a lot of fun...but my DS does not like to get his face painted, so it was not his thing. However, he did love getting a haircut at the Barber Shop on Main Street! They give them a real haircut (it was actually really well done) and then spiked his hair with different color paints (it washed right out) sprinkled a whole bunch of mickey mouse confetti on it!!! They can even paint a mickey mouse head in their hair. He loved it and it was under $20...and he did get a haircut! Pirates league is really cool, but I just wanted to share this one as well!

We're doing the pirates league and then the pirates and pals cruise with our boys. And my oldest is going on the pirate adventure too.

A little girl I brought to WDW thought the mermaid package at the pirate's league was much cooler than the BBB, and I concur, especially for the 'older' girls as well. If you make your son an appointment, I would make one for your daughter too. It's much cheaper than BBB, and has a better looking effect than the BBB. (And has a similar value of items as the lowest version of BBB.)

Unfortunately the word on the boards is that they will no longer do the special effects at the barber shop only the cuts. Since they do that stuff for boys now at BBB they will not do it at both places. Atleast that is what people are reporting here lately. It is a shame!
