Boys at Cinderella's Royal Table???

Question for all you mothers of boys. We have always heard how good Cinderellas Royal Table was but have never been mainly because we are a household of boys...no little princesses other than myself...the queen. Has anyone ever taken their little princes to this restaurant? Is there anything they would enjoy or would they kill me for making them go to this restaurant? Just curious.....sigh.

How old are you princes? I've been there with my son at age 2 and 3 and my nephews at 4 and 8. In my opinion, this is not a gender specific character meal, as each princess ably relates to "the boys" and each of the male children I've been with has been totally entranced just by eating in the castle! Also, some of the princesses tend to "flirt" (purely, if at all) with the boys!!

Our sons loved it for lunch. Turrets, coats of armour, swords, etc.. lots of fun for boys. No toddlers and preschoolers dressed as princesses at lunch or dinner. And better food then, too.

When DS9 was little (3 & 5) we did Cindy's and he enjoyed it. The appeal of Peter Pan one time and Aladdin another was enough to make it enjoyable. Snow White did try to kiss him (when he was 5) and he crawled right under the table in embarressment. Snow White then said he was the 8th dwarf -- Stinker.

When I really want to tease him (or my DS4) I'll say we are dining at the Castle. They beg me to go anywhere but there. I know they would not enjoy it.

My kiddoes were 9 & 10 when we last visited Disney and they loved Cinderella's castle for lunch.So much so, that they've asked that we eat there again this year !!!
Heck, even my DH loves the ambiance of the castle.

In our Disney scrapbook, I have a picture of myself with my boys that we took down in the lobby sitting in Cinderella's royal throne. The caption reads,
"Queen Chris and her little princes"

So, go ahead......enjoy!!!

Faithfull - perhaps you could do lunch or dinner, when there aren't any princesses there. Peter Pan is not on the roster. The only male character I've seen in the 3 times we've eaten there is Prince Charming. He was there last July. In any case, have FUN!

My son loves dining at the Princess meals. I think he likes the extra attention he gets from the lovely Princesses!!!!

My son is 4 (almost 5) & we have a PS for CRT, Princess breakfast in Norway & the Cinderella supper for our upcoming trip.

He has done all these meals before & has had a wonderful time.

i took my 22 year old prince in december. he even posed for photos! i have the most precious photo of him and cinderella. i think the princesses will make a "big deal" over the boys. BTW, my "king" always goes to cindy's w/me.

He was 5 last visit..here's what he loved:

1. The castle itself - really cool, medieval architecture
2. Decor - throne in the lobby (great photo op), armor (swords, mail), banners, stained & leaded glass
3. Much attention from princesses (really fawning over him, treating him like the prince he is, he likes the kisses)
4. Aladdin and Prince Charming were there, too. He loves Aladdin. (No Peter Pan when we were there.)

He insists on dining here next visit if we can get in. He will be almost 8. I asked if he would rather do lunch or dinner, but no, he wants to see "his" princesses. I think ya gotta try it once!

This is funny... I asked my ds who is 4.5 if he wanted to eat inside Cinderella's Castle next time we go to WDW. He said, NO! That's for girls! LOL! So I showed him some photos of the restaurant online, and he got excited and wanted to go! We'll be going there next year, my boys will be about 5.5, 3.5 and 1 yr. It'll be interesting to see how it goes!

Ive replied to this question before. I, too am queen of my household. My princes are 6 and 10 yo and I am due to have another prince in 4 weeks! We took our boys twice to Cindy's Breakfast. The first time they were 3 and 7, 3 yo hid under the table when the princesses came around but the 7 yo loved it. The next year, now 4yo was better- posed for pictures and loved doing the autograph thing. They both loved eating inside the "Castle" and sitting on the throne downstairs doing pictures with Cindy and the Fairy Godmother. To me, Cindy's Breakfast is part of the WDW experience and I did not want the boys to miss out. Take them- the food and atmosphere are great.
