Some people said they were having trouble printing the cards. I have never tried to print them out from the site? however since people were saying they had problems I went to try it. I went to the site and tried to save as and it came out as a small dot after I saved it? I am not sure why it came out as a dot? I then went and hit the resize button and made the picture bigger then I right clicked it to save it? I then opened it up and went to print it and it did not come out as a dot or blurry. I printed the cards on 4x6 cards.
I carried them in a 4x6 photo album that I got at the $1 store (I needed 2 books as I had 150 cards, each book carried 100 cards). I put all the cards in the book in Alpha order. when I needed a character, I pulled it out. I had a spring clip on the book so I clipped it to the photo album so I wouldn't have to carry a clip board for the characters to sign on.

Penny~Thank you SO much for doing these. We are doing several characters meals, and I can't wait to use these. I also love your idea of storing them in a photo album. I had been trying to figure out how I was going to do this because I wanted them unbound so that I can use them in my photo albums after the trip. I'm definitely stealing that !

People were asking me what I meant with the photo albums so I am posting pictures of what I mean.
Here's the photo album open to the pages. The books I bought in the Dollar store had 50 pages and held 100 autographs. I had 3 copies of each autograph in each slot. I imagine that if you only were carrying one autograph card of each character, you could put two or three characters in onr photo slot. I filed them alphabetically and filled a book and 1/2.

Here's a picture of the book closed. Note the spring clip at the top. I left it there so I could use it to hold the card in place for the characters.

Hope this makes it a little clearer.

Hi Penny,

They are all fantastic as usual. I have been doing some of those missing ones as I need 3 books for this trip and I was trying to make them all different!! I do have Amy's saved though so that will help. I have just been uploading covers to my photobucket as of course they will all need different covers too!! I will post them later.

Also, did you check out Natalie's 4share folder? She has some great stuff there also. especially the journals, activity books and she also did autograph cards. She does some nice work.

Yes I have all my invites from Natalie and I have already personalised all of those and printed them. I have also used some of her journal pages and some of Kims (kfawver). These are almost ready to go. I am getting there slowly, but still a few months to go.

I don't go until the middle/end of Sept. The BBQ is fun. It's over in Ft. Wilderness. The characters dress up like cow folks. Mickey, Minnie, Chip Dale and Goofy. There is a roping show. A fiddle show. Lots of dancing and eating.

Do all the characters listed sign at the event and can I use your picture for a background? If you are nervous about it I will use it as a background for your cards only. It is just such a neat picture.

Yes, they all sign. There is Sally, with the red hair. And I forget the other man. And the roper. And the band. They all interact with the kids. Well, not the band so much. You can use my picture. I had a really good one, but I don't know where I put it. It's all very cowboy.

dumb question here but do these take a lot of ink with the back ground designs? I am trying to decide which autograph pages to do.

It's hard for me to remember/judge. I printed out a lot of stuff when I went in February, and then again in May. I may have gone through about two cartridges for over 30 shirts, magnets for the doors, 2 autograph books, 3 photo books with narrative and some clip art printed (not photos), 5 epcot passports (3 little, two 8 1/2 x 11), invitations, 4 tote bags, & a partridge in a pear tree.

Wow Penny, you must have a great printer. I am on my third ink cartridge and all I have printed out is an activity book pages and two autograph books, 2 shirt designs, and 1 passport. My printer is sucking the ink

It's an oldie but a goodie (HP720C)
I printed some things in draft mode, but mostly in regular. I did two shirts in the best mode. I also printed on 4x6 cards, which might not eat up as much ink as other types of paper, like photo paper?
