Bow Makers Wrist?

There's Tennis Elbow, why not? Actually I've been making so many bows my hands feel bruised. Oh..for got to tell you why! My DB is coming home from Iraq!!!
His house has a long curvy driveway. Almost 1/2 mile long. We are making yellow bows and are going to tie them to the trees that line both sides of the driveway all the way to the house. He should be arriving within the next 24-48 hours. WooHoo!!!

That is so wonderful , My husbands cousin came home last week after being in Iraq for almost a year. We were delighted to see him but it has been hard for him to adjust being around all of us again so we are giving him his space. But it will be so nice to have one less worry going around in your brain.

Yes, it's been a tough year for the family. Especially his wife. The baby he left behind won't remember him and I know that will be hard. She is their last child and he was different with her than the others. He even asked his wife, who had just taken her off the bottle, to put her back on it till he got home because he needed to see her as a baby. He missed her first steps and first words. The bad thing is that we already know he will have to return, we just don't know how long he will get to be home. Needless to say, we are having a BIG family celebration!

That sounds painful. No, it's the constant grip of the ribbon as you twist and loop. After a while, the hand goes numb. But very worth it to see DB's face as he drives up the driveway!
