:surfweb: Finished and printed my taxes ... all of them including this year's estimated.

I will still probably wait until next Friday to mail them off. :rolleyes1 It is a conviction of mine to not pay them any sooner than I have to. pirate: Some years I am at the post office just before midnight on the day they are due. :guilty:

:cool1::banana::cool1::banana::dance3: We are so proud that you finally got them done.:)

It is time to pull the trigger on the Awards Ballot. I will accept suggestions or changes until 9:00 am est Saturday morning.

I will hand out ballots at the Meet up and they can be dropped off at my stateroom door.

Thanks Everyone!

I like the idea of a Pirate Night Door Theme too. Might be the only night I have something original on my door! :rotfl:

the ballot looks awesome though, love it!

Back from a loooonnnngggg day out.

Great day spent with my kids though, in the car! :rotfl:

We started out at the foreign currancy exchange counter at the bank, got my Euros and GBP and lots of good wishes on a happy cruise.

Picked up my FE and while I love the colors she did for me I am a wee bit worried about it's width. . .at this point, it will be fine. End of thinking about it!

Took a nice drive up to Lancaster Co. to turn in our Linus Project blankets for the GAD/GAD Disney service project. Beautiful weather, little ones counted 10 different kinds of animals (even Alpacas!) along the way. Loved to see all the Amish folks out and about (my brother converted to Amish faith several years back so fun for my kids to see whole communities and be able to pick out no power lines leading to houses, green window blinds, etc and know what they where seeing. And always, lost a few times but on beautiful country roads, stops at Shady Maple for baked goodies and bulk items and home again home again, jiggity jig.

Boy am I beat and one more day GONE! Someone better think about packing soon:guilty: Bridal shower, five Easter baskets to put together and company for Easter, house a wreck and activities all Wed evening. . .leaves 4 days to finish up and pack up. :scared1:

I have been following all the rain related stories, I am so sorry for each of you. We had a huge amount and our sump pump has been running non stop(which it never has before in 8 years on this property) but at least it is running and nothing is wet. Prayers to you all.

Dee, mini nav looks fabulous. Thanks so much.

Here is a tip for anyone doing FE. Nothing revolutionary but last cruise, I organized my gifts by Deck and in numerical order then divided them into seperate bags by deck. Worked like a charm, just in case someone didn't think it up yet on their own. :rotfl:

and ???? that's all I got!

opps, one more note. Really? white shoes? Don't wear them ever but wear what ever you want, I do recommend leaving your UGGS home though folks, this is a cruise, go get a pedi and let it all hang out, toe wise that is:eek: Do have a pair of heels in off white satin I am considering bringing for one nite, one wearing. . .Not happy with the formal dress but again, it's purchased, done worrying about it!

yeah, I'm really tired. . .

I thought it was decided in Pt.3 that white slacks were OK. Wouldn't white shoes fall in with that?:confused3

Mailed my books and CM gifts to warehouse today. That's 8 pounds I won't have to pack. Getting serious about the rest of the packing now. Everything is clean so it shouldn't be too hard.:dance3:

Called the warehouse and couldn't get through but they called me back in less than 1/2 hour. Very nice. They would like packages by Tuesday. They don't care what you send expect no flammable or breakable objects. Candy was OK although it could melt at other times of the year.

Will you all be at WDW on Sunday? :goodvibes We're going after church to the Magic Kingdom for a few hours just to say that we have been on an Easter (another "bucket list" item) :thumbsup2

Maybe we don't know yet it depends on how late it will be saturday and we are going later in the evening to KSC for the Launch so we have to see.
Just send me an pm when you are there with your cell phone # and maybe we can meet....

WOW! This is great! Thanks, Dee, for doing this!

As you probably have gathered, we have never done the DISboard thing. I am absolutely amazed at what you dedicated DISers do! You are such a blessing to the rest of us!

I printed an bound the travel log too. It came out great. It will be a wonderful surprise for DD.

Oh deer, what have I missed? I don't know how to open the Mini Nav and I don't know what the Travel Log is.

HELP!~!

My nieces were 17, 15, and 12.5 when we were in England - but we had to go to Legoland for them. It's just right for your kids' ages. It's located in Windsor (we also went to the area around the castle - that's pretty neat too).

Cheerio!

I went to Legoland in Denmark about 10 years ago on a Baltic cruise on HAL. I loved it! I don't think you need to be a kid to enjoy Legoland. It was one of my most favorite places on that cruise. It was very awe inspiring to think of all the bricks that goes into making some of those scenes.

Yeah, we planned to exercise more on our last cruise and we actually did! So we'll probably be able to keep that up on the sea days at least. It seems easier when you don't have so many other things taking up your time - like work! ;)

Has anyone ever used their trainer? I don't go to any gym or do any excercise of any kind but I might like to start. Anyone know how much they charge? Or if they're any good - can help design a routine made for an arthritic old lady with 2 knee replacements?

We are taking one of the DCL excursions in Madeira (the western madeira one), and it lasts until about 7pm. We have main dining which is before we return to the ship. Can we shift to late dining for this one night only? I ask becuase it is pirate night and our DD7 will want to dress up in her pirate outfit for dinner prior to the party.

Thanks!

Normally, I wouldn't think you could switch - someone else is usually going to be assigned to that table. Since the cruise is not full, I would ask your servers if they have any empty spaces. Or maybe elsewhere in the room. Maybe this is where the head server comes in... Good luck!

Yes you can.

You should ask your head server a few days in advance. You might not be able to sit with your regular servers. But your head server will find a place for you, most likely at at table where the people are dining at Palo that night.

For this to work people have to let their servers that they will be going to Palo (or elsewhere) to begin with. I hope everyone extends this courtesy to their tablemates (if they're not family) and servers... :goodvibes That way no one is waiting on you to come to the table before ordering.

To the family going to T-rex, I just got a Passporter newsletter with a review about it. If you're interested, email me and I will forward it on to you.

Next time....sweetie....next time!

Thanks for the info...DW and I went to London for our honeymoon over 14 years ago and it will be fun to get back. That said, I have been to two places in Europe in my life - England and Spain! I was kind of hoping it woul dwork out that we'd end up someplace different, but oh well....I can't complain when we are about to embark on this great trip! :cool1:

Will some of you that will be hitting the gym encourage me to go once in a while? I can only do weight machines and the bikes - no treadmills for me (doctor's orders - seriously).
Thanks Kristi

Hey Kristi...I will be glad to support you :thumbsup2 I plan on attending myself ...but dont want to say too much about it because the more I talk the less I do...I just have to shut up and show up

(another "bucket list" item) :thumbsup2

Don't you mean "BRACKet List"? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey Kileybeth! You were in my neighborhood! (Shady Maple ROCKS:thumbsup2 ...but I try to avoid it pre-cruise ...it is a carbfest!) I on the other hand was in Washington DC for work....we may have passed eachother on 222?

Also ....Are you still on the 7:15PM- SW flight next friday night? We will keep an eye out for you.

and (making drumroll sound) I FINALLY GOT MY CRUISE DOCS!:yay::yay::yay: :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:
Ok ...so my TA never saw the new doc format and mistook my cruisedocs for PRE-cruise docs...she has had them for three weeks! She apologized several times (given the fact that I asked her several times about them) ....I told her no worries ....:) It's ALL good! We will be on a plane in one week!

Good Morning everyone :cool1: My plane with be leaving one week from about now

I normally don't work Friday's but have to go in because one person didn't get her EOM stuff done yesterday and my controller wants me to go help her. Ugh!! I bust my butt yesterday to have everything of mine done by 2:30 and have to go in today anyway because of someone else. Oh well I'll get over it....vacation, vacation, vacation.

If I can't check in until tonight I hope everyone has a great day :dance3:

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Awesome! It will be here before we know it!
I will be on a plane a week from today....wish it was sooner, but we are already limited on days with work school, so I am so jealous of those going earlier. :)
