I am planning on bringing 25 copies MAX on the ship with me. Please print it out at home before you leave and take it with you. You can print it in black and white or color, double sided or single sided. I would welcome feedback, but at this point unless there is an actual mistake, I prefer not to tweak it any more. Taxes are next...

You said you saved as a pdf from word? Which version of word do you have??? I am trying to do this with a work document and don't know how to do it.

I sold the few shares of Google stock that we had bought, so I haven't followed them very often, but love it when they make special logos for the Olympics, etc. Googled "Disney Store Rome Italy" today and found that they had changed the name of Google - I told you, I'm out of the loop. Check it out; I love those primary colors (well, ok, that part didn't change).

I have just about decided to dump the Under Siege Disney tour in Gibraltar and go it on our own with taxi and bus. The buses sound good from what I read. Has anyone done something like that in Gibraltar before?

I am mulling it over too Scott but I may just do the dis one (walking tour) I have that ends at noon....then do some on our own exploring...... I keep going back and fourth.
When I factor in the Pound exchange rate...the dis one ...that includes the entry fees etc...is not much different in cost. And I have some serious OBC and Dis gift cards that I will be using to pay off my cruise charges ...soooo I think I will keep it ....maybe

Passed thru your town yesterday on the way home from the Hamptons and stopping at the account to drop off tax stuff and thought about you and your kind offer to do a play or something for the kids. I told my son he can stay home with dad and the sitter if he would rather do his play/musical than go on vacation...he said he is still thinking it over!

I made the mistake yesterday morning of saying I felt caught up at work and then things went crazy in the afternoon so now I'm up early to go into work at 6am and work an 11 hour day to try to catch up again. Stupid end of month... At least next week should be ok because our reports are due by the 5th so I have today and tomorrow to work on my numbers and get them to my controller.

just a little rant - was all excited because we have verizon wireless and was going to do that new thing they have for WDW - I go out spend time registering for different things for the disney stuff and then getting out to verizon to register for this service (it is 9.99 for 180 days) and then to find out my blackberry is not one of the phones you can use this on!!!! just frustrates me - you would think they would make it so it would work on all there phones!

I had the same problem but with AT&T an my blackberry. Then I went to the store to upgrade phones (contract was up anyway) the guy at the store said it is cheaper to just buy a throw away phone when I get there than pay the monthly fee and the per minute fee for international.

I NEVER say I am caught up on work because it inevitably comes back to bite me in the butt. I understand about EOM reports. I am procrastinating starting the right now.

Ha! The funny thing is that my DD(8) is the one who would want to do the scaling and repelling if it were a Disney excursion!

Scott, I am doing the same thing. I posted a question on on Trip Adviser and was told both the taxi and bus would be fine. Me and my son are going to do the bus and spend the time were we want to spend it. We kind of go on our own pace.. sometime fast ... sometime slow. Thanks for the info! I have printed that off and will bring it along. We re the same way. The Rock Tour sounded good, but we also go at our own pace, so I'd like the freedom to do it on our own.

DH and I are playing the "In _ days, we'll be __" game and fantasizing about what we'll be eating (Yes, we've been dieting in anticipation and it's getting to us!). Today, a friend who cruises with DCL regularly was telling me how much she enjoys the restaurants and Castaway Cay buffets, saying (clearly without thinking), "You're not eating just regular port food on the island, it's Disney food!"

We too have been "dieting" leading up to the cruise. I can't wait to go 2 weeks without having to cook and without having to think - "how many calories is in this?" because I'm on vacation!!!

We did the 2007 Eastbound TA. The hour a day thing was really tiring. After a few days, it hit us like a ton of bricks (and we were not alone, apparently the morning activities and breakfast were not, shall we say, very popular!). However, once we got to land and had to get up very early a few days in a row, we adjusted and everything was fine. We pondered this at length as the time change was easily the #1 thing we would do differently if given the chance, which luckily we are! After much thought, and based on the 2007 navigators/time change days, we decided there's no way to take it in one or even two bites and stay even roughly with ship time for dining, etc. We are thus going to consistently go to sleep at 11/11:30 (using DCL time, which shifts) and get up 8 or 9 hours later. We will adjust depending on the DCL schedule, and if we can manage to do it in bigger bites, we definitely will. Our tendency was to go to sleep/get up later and later as the time changes mounted up and then take naps. I cannot recommend it.

Thanks for your input. I'm definitely going to do my best to take it in little chunks - like go to bed at 9pm and be up by 5am - but like you said, it could prove difficult w/ the way things are scheduled.

Do you know which days lose an hour? I wonder if I can get the time change days from the guest services desk so I can plan in advance.

There is also a free download called "CutePDF Writer". It acts just like an installed printer but instead of a hard copy print it makes it into a PDF file to save. Great program that I use all the time.
