Are you talking about Simone? He is just the most incredible person, we think he's great and I was so worried he wouldn't be back for the first MED when he got stuck onboard the Magic a little longer.

I sure hope you get to see him in Barcelona. If not, we will be sure to hug him for you on the MED :)
.

Yep, be sure and request him as your head server for the Med cruise!

And here's a photo with him, just so you can see his sweet face again!

Aww, that made my day :) Thanks for posting it. He is the absolute sweetest and you have me smiling.

I for sure have him for the MED :)

Ok so I have a question that I'm sure has been answered at some point but to be honest I don't have time to search the answer out. :)

I plan on booking a cruise on the Dream while we're onboard but won't actually be able to cruise next year. I think I read that I can pick a date and then change it later when the 2012 dates come out? My other question is can I book the two rooms with just one adult in each so I only have to pay the two deposits but then still get the discounts on the other people when I add them? :confused3 Or do I have to put a deposit down on everyone that will be going to get the 10% off?

Thanks in advance for your help. :dance3:

Yes, you can pick a dummy date and then move it as long as you are not within cancelation period.

Yes, you can just book one person in each room. That is what we started to do. It was easier then putting out all the extra money. The only problem with that is if the rate chages then when you add the new people they will have to pay the higher rates.

I am planning on cancelling a Palo Brunch reservation for Aprill 22 (Sea Day) @ 11:30 am. It is for 4 people. Before I do it, I wanted to know if any of you wanted it so we can coordinate me releasing it & you snatching it up!
Let me know!

Thanks for the information Brooklyn :thanks:

If you only had about 8-10 hours in London (2PM - 10PM) and you had two kids (8 and 11 years) who had never been to London, what would you do? My wife has Harrod's on the list, but would you see the Tower and crown jewels first? Westminster Abbey? Any thoughts?

The Tower is amazing - I'd chose that over Westminster Abbey. My 1st time there I was 9yo. What day of the week is this? I'd check the closing times of each place & then decide.

The kids may also like the London Eye.

If you have slots left, pls PM so we can try to coordinate! Thanks!

I called DCL three times. The first person said that we would be able to have the luggage cleared through customs at night and maybe get off early. The second guy said flat out not to have a flight before noon and that there was no way we could be sure to get off before 8AM. The third said it had to be after 12:30. I am not sure if this is just the party line or not.

Has anyone successfully gotten off before the recommended times? How far in advance? I don't want to make it a stressful time after a TWO WEEKS cruising! (can't wait!), but I also want to be able to get as much time as I can in London before the flight in the morning back to the States.

Ack! I'm way behind but found this post...

Will call again today and see what they say.... Our party of 7 is on this flight and I want to stay on this flight in order to get back home that evening... Will post what they tell me...

The Tower closes around 4-5pm, so if planning make sure you get there ASAP. Should be able to zip thru in 2 hours or so.

As for the London Eye, that closes latest of all the attractions, so pre-book the tix online for whatever is the latest ressie you can do. That takes 35 min for 1 revolution plus ~30-45 min wait depending on how long the line.

That leaves you a few hours in the middle, if you don't mind spending a bit of $$ to get to see a ton of places, I'd reccommend doing the Original Bus Tour or Big Bus Company tour...they have 2-3 different routes each, a loop around the major points of interest in the city with commentary and chance to hop on hop off as you wish. Even the biggest of the loops is only 3 hours, and there are stops at Tower of London & London Eye so you can use it as your transportation too. Hop off at Westminster, walk around to see Big Ben, Parlaiment, etc. There's a Tessco and various other places to grab a quick bite, then you can walk across the bridge to the London Eye. FYI it is awesome at night! HTH & PM if you need anything else!

More than likely the CM's are reading the times recommended for flights given using the regular Med cruises not the TA. On the Med cruises customs will need to be cleared that morning - so that's why an afternoon flight is the best. For us - we clear customs on the Friday so the only thing that we need is to have Immigration agents to check our passports on the way out.

I added the FE Group 3 and Door Contest pages to the All Important Google Spreadsheet and Cougar Locator :thumbsup2
Thanks for adding that, Dee. I entered our info. Let's get to the 10 staterooms!

Thanks Heather for the info on the favorites tab!

I was hoping that is what it was for!

Ok, so everyone please fill it out...it will help to just add a little more info when it comes to Secret Mickey! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

THANKS!!!!

Can everyone fill in, not just Secret Mickeys? It gives just a little insight as to what we have in common in addition to being DCL addicts:rotfl:
i.e., looks like I'll be able to talk Scouting with ScottJM
and maybe I'll find someone for some backgammon.

I did and I am not involved with the SM. And I did it for the same reason;)

We visit London quite a bit and were last there this summer. For planning, keep in mind, the Tower closes around 4-5pm, so if planning make sure you get there ASAP. Should be able to zip thru in 2 hours or so.
