...Not staying at AKL but jealous that you are and we might get over there to eat Thursday.
I'll try to make this quick: last month at Coronado Springs for my DB's convention. He had a horrible breakfast experience at Maya Grill - bad service, bad food... The next morning I was going to join him (& SIL) for the Market, but I suggested we try Boma buffet at AKL instead, though it would be cutting it close to get back for the meetings. He was enthralled; loved the food, the waiter from Jamaica; he promised the waiter he would be back the next day - and they did go back - I couldn't have that much food again to start the day. Am so glad to be able to share these fun places with them. They would have been stuck with a bad taste (sorry) of Disney.
Question for any experienced cruisers. How do we find out and sign up for special seminars and other things DCL is offering? I mean before you read about them in the Navigator and then the opportunities are long gone or all filled up? And inside information?
Also, I know you get a Nav each afternoon/evening in your stateroom and can pick it up even a bit earlier sometimes from Guest Services BUT will it have information about things happening days in advance or is there a different publication that list that stuff or ????
Check out the following link to see what they hand you at Embarkation. It lists the nighttime entertainment for the entire cruise, attire for each of the evenings and a whole lot of stuff that you can just go check out. I just selected one from a December 7-night cruise. The Navigators have a new look since then, but will contain the pertinent info.

A lot of people make beelines to either the Port Excursion desk (just to your right after having your entry to the ship announced or to Rockin Bar D (or Wavebands - check the Welcome Aboard Navigator) for Palo reservations or dining changes.
...Are you ready for how much this procrastination cost me? Sit down, and prepare to feel very very self-righteous for being so much better prepared and organized yourself....$250. on top of the regular passport fees!!!!!...
I was going to kid you about those medical tourism trips - meaning you were working on your gender reassignment surgery - then I saw how much a quickie passport costs

I've been out shopping the past several weeks and think I have spent as much in local stores as the cruise fare was - amazing how much that "great deal" is costing us.
But you are going to look fabulous in that $14 solid-beaded gown.
