Dee, question, there will be no more changes to the mini-nav ?

Beauty and the best, I have for the first time listed out clothing, shoes and jewelry. I actually feel much better and calm. I wish I had done this before.

Soon, we will all be on vacation! Yeah!
Cheers, Jennifer

I have been able to find the weather for all of our locations except one. Does someone know what the weather will be like crossing the big pond? We have 6 days crossing and would like to have the correct cloths.

Orlando 75 61 Mostly sunny
Madeira 65 63 Chance of ran
Seville 71 54 Chance of rain
Gibraltar 64 57 Chance of rain
Barcelona 62 50 Chance of rain

When you say FE hanger, are you refering to the Fish Extender you hang outside your door to collect the gifts? If so, don't worry! You can use almost anything, like an extra tote bag, a gift bag, a christmas stocking.

This is a great idea! :thumbsup2

I am relenting :headache: our taxes are going in the mail today. :sad2: When I leave work there is a Post Office across the street so I am stopping there and getting these things off my list! :snooty:

One more day in the office and we probably will not stay past lunch.

My DW has a doctors appointment to take off her 24 hour monitor. :flower3: Nothing serious just checking it out. It's another one of those "At your AGE we just want to make sure!"

I am usually the person who is up at 2 AM finishing packing on the night before a trip. I swore that this trip would be different. So I actually started packing yesterday and I'm almost done! I can't believe it! I think you super-organized people here on the DIS must be rubbing off on me.:thumbsup2

Today, I did something even more important... I put in shorts for the first time this year! The neighbors were immediately blinded by the whiteness.

Tomorrow, DH is getting our Euros from AAA. When those are in my hand it will really feel real!

Wow, we are getting so close.

Everyone seems to be doing last minute prep.

We finished taxes and packing just about finished :)

8 people, 25 nights if cruising ended up with 7 suitcases and 2 carryons that basically have consumables in them. More luggage than I wanted but each bag only weighs about 25 pounds.

Will grab couple of cases of water and maybe some wine/beer for the inlaws on way to port but we are pretty much set to drive down Thursday.

Probably be in Downtown Disney Thursday and Friday will be spa day for me and the girls.

Anyone else thinking Downtown Disney on Thursday?

I doubt it. I fixed some stuff in the printed copies (Krisann's name added to the digital scrapbooking workshop info, and the number 13 in April 13 was missing from the activities planner). These are minor and I don't want to risk breaking the link on Google Docs by replacing the version that's there. Unless Lynn got a date for BUNCO, I think I'd like to leave the mini-nav as is.

This is a strange milestone, but we took the trash out for the last time before we leave! Silly but true!

And it is going to be 87 degrees here in DC today! What the Heck?!?

What the heck? We have new snow on the ground this morning, and it's enough that I think it's going to stick. The kids had to snow shovel to find Easter eggs on Sunday!

Well, I am sorry to miss Christmas Carol. Ds, 4 grandkids and I stood in line for hours last summer when the train came through town, but then never got to the movie in theaters. Ds, however, will be ecstatic about Last Song. He adores Miley and has cut out an ad from the paper for the movie which he keeps in his wallet...The adults around here have been putting him off, each trying to shove the job of accompanying him to that particular movie onto each other, if you see what I mean. Now ds can just go by himself while on board. Hurrah!

Hit 86 here today as well. And yes, the trash went out for us as well, who knows if my older kids who are running my household will remember the next two Tuesdays so it was an important one.

Cracked me up reading about putting off going to certain movies with teens! I do this all the time! :rotfl: Who knew I wasn't the only one who waits for it to hit Redbox:laughing:

Well 25 copies of the mini-nav, in color, are printed, stapled, and packed. That's 100 pages, so that's as much as I can carry in addition to 55 FE gifts...I hope most of you can print at home and won't hate me too much...

Mine is printed as I am sure many of the regulars here on the boards are as well. No worries, if someone hasn't been posting they won't even know what they are missing! :rotfl:

also, keep one "master copy" and let people pay to copy it at GS for a fee? Wonder if that is an option?

I am nearing panic mode ....I've been doing doing doing BUT the list is getting longer longer LONGER!! I can't see how I'm going to get it all done!! As usual I'm afraid that time (lack of ) will cause me to way overpack!! I was thinking I might need to overflow into an extra suitcase ( 4 for the 3 of us ) mainly because of the weight issue. I think I can pack it in, but keeping it under 50lbs...does not seem likely! Lots of work (plus real job ) between now and thursday night:eek:!

I hear you! I have weighed things over and over again and am still a wreck about it, not this end just coming home!

No clue about the crossing but those other temps look devine! maybe all the "chance of rain" stuff will be FL type of rain, short and sweet and done.

PS note to self: do not forget the jackets. . .better go write it on one of my mirrors with dry erase. .

Yeah, it does help to have it all figured out. I just know if I try to wing it packing wise I'll pay waaaaaaaay too much stuff. Speaking of, I haven't actually put anything in my suitcase yet ....procrastination is the biggest nation in the world!!!

Wow! You win the most efficent packing award for sure! Last year we sailed with 6 of us and we had one full size piece of luggage and one smaller bag/backpack/carryon size for each of us:scared1: and yes the case of water, the FE suitcase, my messenger bag, the stroller, the Beverly Hillbillies got nothin' on us! :sad2: 14 pieces total:headache:

DH said he would never cruise again unless I found away to pack lighter  But by Wed of our week long cruise? He was asking me to check out the TA cruises:confused3

Sure wish I was going to DTD, I need an Earl Sandwhich, craving it and have to wait until our trip in DEC, so close and yet so far away. . .enjoy.

Hello Everyone...I cannot wait till friday anymore!

ok..real question: There were two other Dis-ers that were flying out of Philly airport on Southwest...(besides the previous diser SL). Can you shout out who you are again....or PM me? I forgot your names and would like to say hello at the airport if possible...:dance3:

One more day of work is almost done  I'm so ready to be done. I'm going to be working from home for a couple hours tomorrow morning and then will come in for my last full day of work before vacation. Thursday will be a half day :woohoo:

I'm so in vacation mode they will probably be happy for me to leave :rotfl2:
