Am I the only one who now is opening the map of the decks and staring at my stateroom location each morning? Even I think this is a little over the top but I can't help myself.

My Mom used say that "beauty" was a horse and she always went with "comfort". :lmao:

That's Funny I always tell my kids that I would rather be comfortable then look good. Of course it is usually when we are talking about wearing winter coats. :lmao:

Ooooh, finally a contest I could win... I have had 8 knee surgeries-- 3 in the past 18 months! My left knee looks like a road map with all of my scars!!! :rotfl:

See I told you .... another shipboard activity! :thumbsup2 We'll need another page on the Google spreadsheet soon.

It's not over the top ... believe me. :surfweb:

YOU BRING YOU OWN PREACHER?!!!
You must be some serious sinners. Be warned, my first husband was a minister..You're on your own, bud. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

But seriously WELCOME!!
Yep...that was funny. We were playing golf one day and I broke the news to him about being gone for 5 Sundays and the bargain we received and he decided he wanted to go....but on the first leg.

The Euro is below $1.35 this morning. 1 EUR = 1.34963 USD
I don't know how long to hold out on my European plans or exchange.
It's DEFINITELY trending down and some analysts say may make it to $1.25.
Can you tell I once worked for a stock broker?? :teacher:
Things that make you go hmmmm.

Due to the unfavorable exchange rate the hose police will expect all tickets to be paid in euros and the charge will be per leg.
I figure, between the bare legs and cougars, to make a killing on this cruise. :rotfl:
Now if only I could find Sister Jean Marie :bride: (she's a nun today not a bride darnit!!) from my Dominican/Jesuit days as back up!!

Welcome aboard!

Hope to get to know more about you all between now and the cruise. My wife and I are ministers also. We look forward to meeting yours as well.
Not only my preacher but a very good friend as well and we've been trying to arrange a trip together for several years now. Tried to get him to do the Med cruise too but couldn't convince him our church would still be there if he was gone 5 Sundays...jk
We'll have to figure out a way for you to meet them Brack
Thanks everyone for all the welcomes.

Question - Is anybody else doing a little extra exercise before this cruise? I'm on the Self magazine challenge to work off all that comfort food (read - mac & cheese and pancakes :rolleyes1) that I ate when it was cold outside....am I alone on this?

I will be going hoseless as well. My legs are pale, scary white, but so are my arms, my back, my neck...etc. I'm a geek that lives inside, and uses SPF 70 when in the sun.

Hey, nothing wrong with not having a tan! :cool2: I'd much rather have pasty legs than a melanoma.

 We watched the DCL video again yesterday!

Who are they?? I've never even heard of them.

The Black St. Boys are 2 cousins who perform regularly on DCL cruises. I saw them on the Jan30 Magic cruise and they were hilarious!:rotfl: They performed in both the Walt Disney Theatre and the Rockin' Bar D. When they performed on Beat St. the overflow was in Diversions and that was also SRO. Warning: Don't leave for the bathroom or any other reason even in the big theater because they WILL notice and comment. They are not to be missed! Either show.:rotfl2:

:littleangel:On a sad note, I had to put my cat down this evening. She had led a wonderful, long life (16 years) - but mother nature finally won out. I will miss her terribly!:littleangel:

I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are a precious part of our family. Take care.

You are not alone. I don't stare EVERY DAY. But I do may fair share of peeking, especially when I get stressed in the office. ;)

I don't mind not being golden brown, but I do need to start my tanning lotion regime. The kind the builds up gradually. I hope to be neither fish-belly white, nor carrot orange.

I picked up my docs from my TA yesterday! Yeah! They are in hand!!!

I've been doing a little shopping for the trip here and there. Yesterday I picked up some sand toys for CC and maybe a couple other stops. Just depends on how DS is doing that day. I did a little shopping for new dresses over the weekend as well, and am almost set.

Going to a party store today to pick up some birthday decorations for our trip for DH, should be funny.

Oh, and I'm getting Toy Story 1&2 today! Yahoo!!!

Question: If I upgrade at port and my room changes, what do I do about FE's as we are on the list?

TIA

I totally agree and always say/think this whenever people remark on tans. Nothing is worth the cost of health. :thumbsup2

Loved them! We can't wait to see them again.

Words cannot express how sorry I am. It has been a little over a month since we had to put our dog down, and I am still grieving as if it just happened yesterday. Everyone else in my family have moved on, but I just can't.
I hope you can ease your pain easier than I have.

we did a vow renewel on the Princess line a few years ago and it was $200 and it was wonderful. I got a bouquet, John got a buttonaire, and it was a private ceremony in the chapel with the captain and some crew members. We also got some nice pictures, champagne and cake. It was a lovely ceremony.
