I have a FD BB booked for August of this year, now changed into the Recovery20 (35% off) discount. I'm hoping Disney will consider extending the 35% off into 2021 with the border restrictions, air uncertainties, etc.

I hope so too so am keeping the reservation I won’t be using but so far that’s not happening. I attempted to move my formerly FD BB trip (now 35% off) Into 2021 and all the discounts disappeared.

Hi first time posting, but figured I’d answer this for you. Just checked out from SSR yesterday. I called to see if they were offering a bounceback and they are not. I had a feeling they wouldn’t be but would have kicked myself if I didn’t at least try!

Thank you for reporting back. It makes sense that there isn’t a bounceback right now. I’m going mid-July and was hoping for one, though.

We should keep calling, though. Who knows, maybe at some point in the year, they’ll put a Bounceback for 2021.

I am in the same boat. So it is either we cancel and lose the discount or go during quarantine. I wrote to guest services. Waiting to hear back. I will post when I hear something but I have a feeling it won't be good news.

Thanks for the updates! I’m pretty confident that the border will remain closed so we will not be allowed to enter the US. If that happens I will write at that time and request an extension but I’m not holding my breath as Disney is not offering any discounts at this time at all.

My Sept 2020 trip was suppose to function partially as a bounceback for a trip in 2021. I doubt they will have one, but a girl can dream.

I hear you! We have booked our following September's Free Dining BounceBack trip for the past 9 years running. Not looking like that's going to happen this year.

I'm supposed to be there July 18-26. I'll call, just in case, but again, I don't expect a BB in the near future. It seems to me they have bigger fish to fry than putting out a BB. I'll report back at the end of the month.

Please let me know if you hear anything, I wrote to Guest Services June 7th and still haven't heard back. I'll do the same if I happen to hear.

We're going hopefully in early October, hoping for a discount as well. I didn't receive anything for a canceled June 2020 trip so fingers crossed for October...but honestly I doubt it if they don't want people there.

Just got an email today. Basically, blah blah blah...We have until day of check in to change or cancel our reservation without penalty with check ins until October 3. No discounts planned for 2021 yet. That will happen later. Check the special offer section of the website. My trip is August 11.

Thanks for reporting back. We had plans to drive down there, but I doubt Canada will open borders for leisure anytime soon.

I wouldn’t expect to see a BB until very late in 2020. The regular BB for the following year usually appears late November or early December. I also wouldn’t expect the BB to go any farther than the end of September like the park reservations are currently. I would not expect them to go into the 50th, at least not right away.

‘Normally’ (whatever that is) the next BB is a Free Dining BB that is offered to guests staying from early Aug through the end of October. After that the ‘normal’ BB is a room discount for guests staying from Nov 1 through Jul 31.

Not really sure when we’ll see another bb but I’d be surprised if they do away with them altogether as they’ve been offered for as long as I can remember.

That’s right. That’s what we normally see. It will be interesting when (if?) Bouncebacks come back. I also think they will come back, just like Passholder discounts that one day just reappeared.

There hasn't been a Bounceback offer since WDW closed. The previous offers that were a room discount for 2020 dates expired in March when WDW closed.

Ahhh. Info on here not updated then? Said it expired August 15th. Or maybe I missed something. Thanks for clarification!!
