Hotel with RV parking?

Hello! We are long time WDW visitors but this will be our first time to Disneyland. We'll be traveling around the West coast in a 20 foot long campervan in July and plan to stop at Disneyland for 2 nights. I had booked a hotel months ago and just found out they only allow parking for vehicles under 15 feet long. Does anyone know of any walking distance hotels that allow large vehicle parking? Thanks!

If your van is truly 20' you will be fine in any hotel that has an open air lot. A standard parking space is 10'x20' and there are almost no cars that are only 15' these days!

I have a Sprinter 170 Camper Van and when calling the term you want to use is "over height" not "over sized" as you can fit in a standard space. A 20' van is no bigger footprint than most full size trucks and SUVs that people roll up in all the time.

Holiday Inn on S. Walnut has a large lot in the back that would be no issue.

Other option is to stick it in long term parking surface lot at SNA airport then Uber back.

Many hotels in SoCal don’t allow RVs of any type, regardless of whether they fit in incumbent space. I think they’re concerned with people staying in the RV all night…

I just happened to be looking at the comfort inn and they mention they have bus parking. I know regular parking is free there. This hotel is not walking distance but you could walk to the Toy Story lot and take the free shuttle to Disneyland. You may want to call and see about your vehicle.

I drove my 35’ rig down several times and stayed at the Grand Californian. They would have me park in the lot to the north of the DLH. Course that was 10 to 20 years ago.

For those also interested in this topic, I got a "Yes" from the Alpine Inn, Cambria, Clementine, Homewood Suites and Hotel Lulu as well as the onsite hotels. I think we're deciding between Clementine and Cambria at this point, mostly because of the room layouts.

Awesome! I’m kinda surprised about Alpine Inn. Their parking lot is teeny tiny. They do have some parallel spots though.

Alpine Inn is indeed small. Somewhat shocking Disney never acquired Alpine Inn and turned it into DCA. It’s one of the last mid century motels in Anaheim that wasn’t either demolished or refurbished beyond recognition.

I really like Alpine inn. It’s where I always stayed as a kid. So a lot of nostalgia for me. We have stayed a couple times in the last couple of years and had great stays. I love their exterior. Brings me back to being a kid. Lol.
