I understand the general concept; scheduling your next DW vacation while on your current vacation. But can anyone else give me some more info. How far in advance can you schedule? Is it really that much of a discount? What if prices get lower after you schedule? Do you leave a deposit?

Thanks!

We booked our trip for this year while we were there last year during free dining. The discount was about the same as the offer now, but it allowed us to take a full year to pay it off!:goodvibes

We were required to do the standard $200 minimum to book the trip and there was a window of dates we could pick for this year. I loved, loved, loved having the full year to make payments. Usually, I have to be more self disciplined and put money in savings all year.

If prices lower, you can call and make a new ressie and cancel the old, transfering any money you have paid. You can also just cancel up until the 45 day mark and get a full refund.

Hope that helps. I certainly helps the last day blues when leaving the world.:wizard:

I had an offer for one in the room when we stayed in the Poly in July 2008. It was 40% off but we already had 40% for our stay at WL in November 2008. I've never used them but, from my observation, most of the time they have the same sort of discount at the times we go (although it doesn't hurt to 'lock in' a discount).

We just returned from a fabulous stay at POP this past Tuesday and there was a bounceback offer in our rooms (which we did book!:goodvibes). We were able to book 9 days right before Christmas for about $66 per night (week days) and $108 for weekend.
Here are the details:

30% off at select Disney moderate resorts: most nights 5/31-6/6, 8/23-11/23, 11/29-12/5, 12/13-12/24

30% off Wilderness Cabins (same dates)

20% off Value Resorts (same dates)

You must book before you check out. You do not need to book a package..you can book this bounceback offer as room only. We had to put down 1 night stay as a deposit. You can convert it to a package at a later date (which we will do).

Some important things...When you do convert it to a package, they will refund you the 1 night deposit and you must make a $200 deposit on your package. You cannot apply the nights deposit to the package deposit. If a better deal comes along (say a PIN code or a better discount code) you can call and get the better deal applied to your reservation.
HTH. :)
