Bounceback for 1 bedroom villa?

Does anyone have experience using the bounceback room only offers to book a villa? I attempted to book a 1 bedroom for a few nights in Nov. 2015 with the new room only BB offer this past Thursday and the CM said while they are eligible for the offer, none were showing available (at any of the resorts - she checked all eligible resorts - only villas at the GF and Poly were excluded from the offer.) She said she thought it may be too far out for the villas at this time and encouraged me to book a regular room somewhere and call back later to switch when they opened up. Is this correct? If so, anyone know what the timeframe is? I thought there was different inventory for DVC members, so it didn't really make sense to me...

They usually don't release villas until 10 or 11 months out. There is a separate inventory but DVC controls it, not CRO.

I agree that I would book something and then change it later.

They are still not released. I booked my "future stay" for November when I was there, and locked in the rate for when the villas are released. I'm hoping soon.

FWIW, I was able to book a 1 bedroom no problem last Friday, but it was for October 2015. The November inventory may not have been added yet. Try checking exactly 11 months from your anticipated check OUT date...that was when I was able to book my 1 bedroom for this year's trip.
