Bounce Back offers....

Re: Bounce Back. Do you have to book bounce back at the same hotel? We'll be down in a few weeks, at the GF. Can I book the Boardwalk for next year on a BB offer? If so, do we actually have to go to the Boardwalk to book it or can we book the Boardwalk at the GF or is it simply a phone call? :confused3
We were at the WL on Monday and booked a bounce back for the YC. You dial extension #8944 from your room phone. You can only get the offer while you are staying at a WDW resort. You can get the Bounce back at any resort that has availability. We tried to get it for the BC but only club level was available. So we took the YC instead.

I called the number that was in the booklet, and was told that I had until 10 PM that night to book. There is a lot of confusion among CM's at the resorts regarding the cutoff. Some folks thought it had to be before checkout, others thought that 11AM was the cutoff. The people (I booked for myself, and then for my friend who traveled with me) on the calls told me that 10 PM of checkout day was the deadline. You can book anywhere that has availability, and can make changes thereafter, based on availability.

How do bounce back offers work for military? For instance, we have a military deal at CBR for 2015 (I believe it was 35% off for the room). We have the DDP, but don't have to buy park tix as part of our package (since military can get deeply discounted 4-day Salute tix). If we are offered a bounce back deal for 2016, would we have to purchase park tix through Disney (ie, not have the option to purchase Salute tickets (assuming the Salute deal is extended through 2016)?

I am curious as well. We are going next month with a friend who is MIL and we booked this trip under the MIL salute room discount and salute tickets, but when booking the BB it will just be me and my kids and not my friend

When I called the day we were checking out (10/26) it was just free dining, but you had to buy tickets and since DH and I have AP's it wasn't worth it to us. We'll just wait for a room discount. Though, do all free dining offers require you to buy tickets? I have never considered doing free dining, but am curious about that.

Yes, typically you have to each buy at the minimum, two day tickets each. As an ap holder, you can always save your two day tickets and use them at a later date to upgrade to AP's. :goodvibes

We leave for Disney in about a week with Free dining, does anyone know what are the bounce back dates they are offering with the free dining bounce back offer?
Thanks,

I was there that week and there were/are actually two offers right now. One for free dining and a room discount. We booked the room discount.

For me is the best offer Disney can give. You already know that you are going to get free dinning (or the room discount), you can choose the dates to go (of the ones they offer), so you know when to ask your boss, for vacations. You also can buy airline tickets well in advance before it gets expensive . You can also ask the school of your children permission to skip one week. And it gives you plenty of time to save for those days. I love it.:lovestruc
