Bounce Back / Any trouble with getting your fav. resort?

Just wondering since BB has been out a while > Has anyone not gotten there chosen resort, room category, or time period? From it being filled up already?

If so what did you request and what did you eventually take?

I just booked BB on April 7 for third week of August 2014--slim pickings for the deluxe resorts and villas! I was able to get VWL-studio, no 1 BRs left. SSR studio or 1 BR was also available for my dates. BC, YC "cheaper" rooms were all gone for my time frame. I did not ask about GF, CR, or Poly. I ended up booking a split stay with POR-RR-GV room and the VWL-studio, but plan to call back to see if GF is a possibility for part of the stay. I did not ask about other mods or values.

Back in Feb I tried to book POR 3rd week aug and it was not available!

I was able to get only 2 nights at POR -RR for that week...thus split stay with VWL.

Just thought I would add my own experience incase someone else was wondering or hoping to snag a BB rate.

Well, called the 1st day of our trip 5/2/2014 and was on hold for an hour. Finally > told nothing on monorail open for my late september time request. Could not get BC but Yc had GV only. No to BW.
Asked about PORS was available but only for princess rooms.

I settled on YC Gv. and took the 12 nites.

Then my Disboard training came into play the next day > and called back.

Got a more open agent > and she could find some of our time in different levels at CR [ my #1 request]. I finally scored and settled for tower / bay lake view [tpv not available] got it for 10 of our 12 nites. So kept the YC for day #1 & 2. Then we will move to CR.

But, always remember your code training ask all kinds of questions and have them keep trying different combinations till you get what you want > or something close.

*** all resorts I asked about showed open rooms for several categories > however the Bounceback was very limited at this time > very sold out.

We were surprised that we were able to get a preferred room at POR with FD BB. I never recalled the preferred rooms being available!

I was able to book 6 nights for October at Boardwalk Inn Deluxe Club Level with no problem. When I got home I decided to add days and I had to call everyday for several days in order to be able to add the additional days. So I recommend booking a reservation, even if it isn't 100% what you want, and then keep trying until you get what you want.
