Hey people, havent posted here for a while. Ive been using ioahq.com's board allot. Just wanted to let you know I just bought our bonus passes via the universal website. It said they should be here by the 11th... I heard some rumors that they tend to arrive late... this wuld be bad since im leaving in the 18th.... does anyone know anything about that? that would be a big help! Im so excited about taking people who have never been... I just hope they enjoy it... they say they are not excited right now anything you guys suggest I can do to make them more excited?

I dunno... I think I might have to pull out DA BIG ONES for this lady... I dont know why she's not excited... im practicaly paying for everything!!! I guess she only likes to go with people who have small children...maybe she will enjoy it once we're there... im still worried about my passes too!! your pic of Jess is sexy.. lol...

And you said she hasn't been before? Because that's what my answers are to help mostly for.

Although I had gone to Universal a few times when I was younger and then when it was time to go again I was not excited. I'm now older and can do more and appreciate these things. Does she like any of the movies the rides are based on?

Maybe you can challenge her on the Men in Black ride. Tell her about it (shooting aliens and trying to get the best score) and tell her to try to beat you on it or something. If she's competitive in the least she should take you up on that offer.

Tell her about some shows. As you know Universal has some great shows (but they have changed since you last went). The Horror Make-up Show is hysterical especially when they have a very outgoing "volunteer." If she likes music she may like Ghostbusters (ah heck, she'll probably like that one anyway..it's pretty funny) and Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue (yeah, I know...cheesy, but she might like it??).

Are you only going to Universal or Islands of Adventure too??

I'll talk to you on AIM tonight probably. We can discuss more on it then if you still need some help.

bummer guy. I'm sending my gf and her son down to US/IOA for 3 nights Jul 13 - 16. They're staying at Portofino Bay. She's only been on an airplane once and her son's never been on a plane. Neither one's been to US/IOA. I got them annual passes also.

The kicker -- she's hasn't told him yet that they're going. She's planning on not letting him in on it until the very last minute -- when the limo pulls up to take them to the airport.
