Do the gift shops at the WDW resorts carry gallons of bottled water? Trying to figure out the best way for us to take water with us. We are flying and going in June so I know we will need alot of h20. I could ship small bottles of water, but that seems like it would be costly. Has anyone every put bottled water in their carry-ons? Also do the gift shops carry gallon or1/2 gallons of milk?

luvchip---stayed last year at POR and honestly cannot remember seeing anything other than the pint bottles of milk. Someone may have a better memory than me or perhaps at another resort they do. However, I do remember seeing liter bottles of water. If all else failed I'm sure you could grab a taxi and run to the store at the Crossroads and get all kinds of goodies.
Hope that helps some!

I'm not sure about the milk, because we don't drink it, but the resort shops have large (1.5 liter??) bottles of Dasani. I've packed bottled water in my suitcase before, but never when I'm flying. They are so heavy and I'm always almost at the airline weight limited on my bags.

I'm pretty sure all the gift shops sell half gallons of milk. I've never seen gallons of bottled water, and even at the gift shops the water is very expensive.

the resorts have the liter bottles but they are pricey. i have taken bottled water on an airplane in my carryon and in my husbands ( a 6 pack each) we needed it because the baby used the powder formula and we had to mix it. while the water we brought helped we still needed more. it is cheaper to go out of the world to get a gallon or 2.

We've all ways brought water bottles with us and then refilled them from drinking fountains, the sink in our room, etc. I don't know if that's an option for you or not.

1/2 gallons of milk is about all they sell at the resorts. Be prepared for the price!!

In early January I bought a gallon of water in the gift shop at Wilderness Lodge. I can't remember the exact price. I'm thinking $2.79 - which I thought was a great price compared to $2.50 for a small bottle in the parks. The first part of our stay we were at Pop Century and I don't remember seeing gallons of water there - or I know I would have bought one! My guess is that Wilderness Lodge had them because of the Villas.

I have carried a few smaller bottles of water in my carry on, but not enough for our entire stay. We were going to request a grocery stop just for water - and then decided to give Disney all of our money instead :)

For alot of years I've drank water out of the spigot at home and other places. Some yuppie thought it was cool to carry around a bottle of water, cause they might be thirsty is 10 seconds just after leaving the house, now everyone has to have one when all the free water is provided at fountains and resorts rooms. Its just like cell phones, do you really need to talk to someone going out your door or just getting in your car?? I don't need to hear your phone ringing, till you decide its yours, and I don't need to hear your conversation cause you talk to loud. You don't see the President of the USA with a cell phone or a bottled water do ya and he gets along!
